Fear, Mr. Fear was born Sep.!,
.tember 4, 1886, In Morris Town-
ship. lie was married to the
fernier Norma Sperling, who
predeceasedhim.
Mr. Fear was a farmer in
Tueltersmith Township until
1947. After' retiring from farm-
ing, he was a maintenance work-
er at Clinton Public Hospital
for 16 years. He was a lifelong
resident of the area and a the-m-
ebehrurchof. Ontario Street United
He is survived) by daughtets,
Mrs. Edward (Reta) Hamather,
of 'London; and Mrs. James,
(Margaret) Landsborough of Sea -
forth; brother, Leslie of Blyth;
and sister, Mrs. Walter (Ger-
trude) Harlock of London.
Funeral service was held on
Monday, December 18, at Beat-
tie funeral home, Clinton, by
nee. G. L. Mills. Buriel was in
Brussels cemetery.,
Pallbearers were: George and
Samuel Fear, Ernest Brown,
Robert and, Douglad Harmather,
and Donald Landsborough. Flow-
er bearers were Bert and Ted
Fear.
MRS. WALTER SCOTT
Mrs. Walter Scott, 63, Sea -
forth, died Monday at Victoria
Hospital, Londdn, following a
lengthy illness.
The former Ruby Elizabeth
McRae, she was married in 1931
to her husband who survives.
Also surviving is a brother, An-
gus, London.
Mrs. Scott, who was born in
McKillop, attended school there
and Seeforth Collegiate. For a
number of years prior to her
marriage she was on the staff
of Bell Telephone and of Keat-
ing's Pharniacy here. She was
a member of First Presbyterian
Church.
The body was at the R, S. Box
funeeel home, where the funeral
service was held at 3:30 p.m.'
Wednesday and was conducted
by Rev. D. co,' Fry. Temporary
entombment was in Pioneer
Memorial. Mausoleum.
Pallbearers °were: John
Thempson, James F, Scott, Wil-
liam McDowell, Robert MeMil-
.1an, Sam,MeClure -and Stewart
Dohnage. Flower bearers were
Ross McMichael, William Wil-
son, Tom Whyte, Luther Sand-
ers and Ed Dorrance,

son Reid, William Rogersen and
Alex ILL -Ewing. Plower beares
were Paul Lloyd, Keith Lloyd,
Kathleen McEwing and Karen
McEwing.
MRS. WILLIAM CUTHILL,
There passed away' in Salt
Lake City, Utah, Agnes Patter-
son, widow of the late William
Cuthill, in her 94th year. Mrs.
Outhill was the daughter of the
late Mr. and Mr% George Pat-
terson, pioneer residents of Ilul-
lett Township. She went to
North Dakota with her parents
in 1881 and was married in 1901
to William ,Cuthill, who passed
away seehal years ago. She is
survived by three daughters,
Mrs. Charles Chrismas of Wien-
tiful and Mrs. Francis Pedersen
and Miss Hazel Cuthill of An-
tioch, Cal., and also by nieces,
Mrs. W. C. Bennett Mrs. R. K.
McFarlane,' Seaforth and Mrs.
W. A. Campbell of Guelp,h, Mrs.
•Ed Neal, Exeter and nephews,
Oscar Cuthill of • McKillop and
Wilmer of Seaforth.
Interment was made in Boun-
tiful, Utah.

Dorothy .Ellen Elizabeth Twy-
ford) died Thursday, December
14, at West Hill, Ontario, in her
fiftyafirst year.
Born in Tuckersmi,th town-
ship, she was the daughter of
Mrs. Frank Walters and the late
Frank Walters.
In May, 1940, she was mar-
ried to George Albert Twyford.
Besides her husband and
mother she is survived by three
sons, Donald - George, Lloyd
Francis and Floyd Henry; one
daughter, Patricia Ann; brother
Lloyd of London; sisters, Mrs.
Allan (Beatrice) Campbell, Win-
throp; , Mrs. Murray (Eileen)
Culver, Brantford; (Mrs. Donald
(Amy) Horne, Seaforth.
The funeral was from Ball
and Vetch funeral home on Sat-
.urday, December 16. The Rev.
