boys wlto are friends, but five
have never talked to: them.
They have very g000i reputa-
tions and are Very good look-

Actually; there are a lot of.
girls chasing then. How can we

I'xn:, sending you my recom,
mended list of books on the
subject of dating and sex. Thes
have been written by recrea-
tion workers and others who
help young people over the
hurdles' and know some ans.
wers. Most of the books listed
are published in inexpensive
paperbacks.
DEAR ,DORIS - I ani a wi-
dow, and next month I'm mar-
rying a widower. It will ;4 a
small wedding with only our
families present. His son will
be best man and his young,.
daughter will be bridesmaid. I
would like my sister to be ma-
tron of'honor.
The problem is this:SNI y has
mother says that my father s
given tie away once, so he
away
doesn't have to give me a y
again. Is this right or would. itit
,be alright if he walked with
me again?
Second Time Round,
DEAR .SECOND - She is
right and so are you. If he is
willing and you want him there
-is nothing to say he can't give
you away -twice, I like the. idea.
DEAR DORIS - -L feel com-
pelled* to take exception to your
answer about the little boy who
didn't talk.
First of all, you should ad-
vise her to have his hearing
checked. If this is okay she
should have him assessed by a
psychiatrist. If he has any oth-
er symptoms such as being a
loner, whirling, rocking, sail-
ing, Hitting himself,' he could
be autistic, which is a form of
schizophrenia. They are classi-
fied as emotionally disturbed
childre' and the younger they
catch them the faster they can
be helped.
My child is such and when
she was three and a half she
just said a few wo de: too. $he
is now five and i . st ,starting
treatment. I •.y1' •"st ' more than
a, year because .qualified people
said there was nothing wrong.
