In its history', Harvey C. John-
ston, superintendent, informed
Huron Connty Council' at its
November Session Monday:
Total is made up of 102 men
and 152 women, grid this is the
first tithe the number of men
in the home lilts exceeded one
hundred. -
Cost of operation per dem is
running -at $5.49, Mr. Johnston
also stated.
Alvin D. Smith, Turnberry,
chairman of the Boar dof Man-
agement, reported that tenders

5A bunker fuel for the next
two heating seasons. Six ten-
ders had been received, the
loWest being thg of Ross Scott
Ltd„ Brucefieldr at 10,25 cents
per gallon, effective November
1, 1967. The former price was
10.75 cent's per gallon, he said.
Tenders were called for snow
removal- and only one tender
was' received, that of- Glen' Lay-
ton, 'RR 5, Clinton, at $8 per
hour. Contract was awarded to
him.
Superintendent Johnston pro-
vided a breakdown of the 254
residents of "Huronview", as
follows:
Townships: Ashfield, 8; Col-
borne, 4; Goderich, 7; Grey, 1;
Hay, 4; HOwick, 18; Hullett, 7;
McKillop, 5; Morris, 4; Stanley,
10; Stephen, 5; Tuckerimith, 9;
Turnberry, 2; Usborne, 4; East
Wawanoslr, 9; West Wawanosh,
7; total, 104.
Towns: Clinton, 24; Exeter,
21; Goderich, 50; Seaforth, 13;
Wingham, 17; total, 125.
Villages: Bayfield, 1; Blyth,
9; Brussels, 7; Hensall, 5; Zur-
