accompanied by the organist,
Mrs. Grace Brown, Blyth. ,
Giveji in marriage .` by her
father, the bride chose a floor -
length sheath gown of silk or-
ganza with a chapel train fal-
ling from the waist. The gown
was accented by a capelet col-
lar and tri ed with Venice
lace. Her too -tiered pouff veil
fell fro a epdpiece of petals
frosted with earls and crystals.
She carried a bouquet of red
roses and ivy.
Mrs. Sharon Johnson, 63 Rose-
wood Ave., Cauelptr, was matron
of honor, wearing a Sue blue
Door -length gown of sheer gor-
gette chiffon over taffeta, fea-
turing a batteau neckline, short•
sleeves and empire bodice with
guippre lace motiff. The sheath
skirt was visible underneath a
mock coat of Georgette chiffon.
Her bouffant veil was held by
a wedding ring of Georgette
chiffon over taffeta and carried
a crescent ebouquet of white
carnations and red roses. Miss
Wenda Humphries, Walton, sis-
ter of the groom and Miss Jo-
Anne Pickard, Mitchell, niece
Mr. Ken Pollard, Guelph, was
best man, while Mr. James An-
derson, London, brother of the
bride and Mr. James Rutledge,
London, cousin of the groom,
ushered the guests.
The reception was held in.the
church parlaur where the
bride's mother received th-
guests in a turquoise sheath,
topped by a lace coat and black
accessories. The groom's moth-
er assisted wearing a brown
dress accentdd by a white and
gold bodice and by,
acces-
sories, Their corsages w r•e”
white gardenias.
For a wedding trip ,to North-
ern. Ontario, the bride wore a
brown crepe dress . with tur-
quoise accessories. On their re-
turn Mr. and Mrs. Humphries
will reside at 432 Hill St., Lon-
don.

ough, Windsor, Listowel,
Guelph, Haggersville Seaforth
and Walton. •
The bride was a 1966 grad-
uate
raduate of Stratford General Hos-
pital. Prior to thein marriage
the bride was feted at showers
given by Mrs. James Bell, Strat-
ford and Mrs. Sharon Johnson,
Guelph, at which her. former
classmates attended.. Also show-

Mrs. Ludolph Medema, Cen-
tre Street... Seaforth, -age 64;
died suddenly Tuesday afternoon
at Seaforth Community Hospi-
tal. Mrs. Medema had been em-
ployed at the hospital over sev-
eral years- and was engaged in
mending linen .when ',she was
stricken.
Born in Holland, she was the
former Willemina DeVries. She
was a member of the Christian
Reform Church in Clinton.
Survid.ing besides her -husband
are one daughter, Wietske Anna,
Mrs. .Bill Bakelaar ,of Clinton,
two sons, Peter Enne of Wal-
laceburg and Enne Ludolph of
Arizonaend ten grandrehildren.
Two brothers and a sister are
still in Holland and also sur-
vive.
The body is resting at the_ R.
S. Box funeral home, High St.,
Seaforth. Funeral services will
be held on Friday, November
10th at 2 p.m. from the Chris-
tian Reform Church in Clinton.
