After scripture, meditation and hymns, a skit was given by Dawn Stephenson, Christine Pryce; Mary Elliott, Karen Hen- derson and Christine Turnbull, entitled "This land was made for you and me". . The theme of the meeting was Centennial Year The business was conducted by the president Mrs. William Ball -Mrs. Willis Dundas reported, 1,350 calls made by the UCW on homes, hospitals and shut-in folk. The summer project called "Good Neighbor" was carried out. Mrs. Baker reported on her visit to Five Oaks this summer with Miss Karen Henderson as the teen-age representative. The members , of St. Marys' Anglican Guild met Thursday evening at the home of Mrs Roy Burchill. The secretary and treasurer's reports were given by Mrs. Roy Burchill. An excerpt was read from the Huron Church News, telling of the experiences of twenty young people from the Huron diocese who went to bi the House to assist in the building of a church in that area.
