The Barbara Kirkman Aw ill-
ary of First Presbyterian Church
held the 65th anniversary of the
Society' on Tuesday evening.
Mrs. C. Reith was in the chair
and welcomed guests from Hen-
sall, St." Thomas' Anglican and
Egmondviile. The scripture les-
son was read by Mrs. J. A.
Munn and was taken from the
13th chapter of Corinthians.
Mrs. Harold Coleman led in
prayer.
The collection was received
by Mrs. Dale Nixon and Mrs.
Sydney Pullman. Four girls,
Sandra Coleman., ,Mary Jean
Fry, - Cathy Scott and "Lauren
Moggach sang "Cud is Near",
accompanied by Mrs. -William
Brown-
' Miss Bessie Grieve introduced•
the guest speaker, Mrs. D. Glenn
Campbell, of Elmwood Church,
London, who spoke on the sub-
ject "Isn't it nice to be rich".
During her talk she said there
are two tragedies, one "not to
get our heart's desire" and the
other, is to get it.. To whom
much is given, much shall be
required. We are not as rich as
we think, because we are sq
afraid of inflation and wars. We
are rich by giving. Mrs. W A.
Wright thanked Mrs. Campbell
and the girls who. sang.
Following the • meeting Mrs.
Campbell renewed acquain-
tances with her friends when a
cup of tea was served by tire
social committee with Mrs.
Enos Boshart in charge.

was held at the home of Jack
Muir. There was a good atten-
dance to look after the- busi-
ness for the 1968 -season.
John Patterson was name
president; Tom Philips is first
vice-president; and Bob Doig,
second -vice-president. -.lack
Muir was named outside tour-
nament secretary and Hugh
Thompson, club secretary, with
Cla once Walden, treasurer.
The property committee includes
