The bride -elect was seated in an attractively decorated chair of pink and white flowers and streamers, leading to a decorat- ed umbrella above. After corsages had been pin- ned on the bride -elect, her mo- ther and the groom's mother, a program was conducted by Mrs. Wilfred Annis, Mrs. Lorne Ai- kens, Mrs. IL S. Aikens, Mrs. Ross Pepper, Mrs. Gordon Aik- ens, Miss Joan• Annis, Mrs. Har- old Pethick and Mrs. Glenn Pep- per. Mrs Harold Pethick read two humorous readings. Mrs. R. S. Aikens and Joan Annis favored with musical number with the' mouth Organ and guitar. Mrs. Ross Pepper and Mrs. Gorman Aikens conducted "Let- ters written to Ann Landers". Miss Joan Armis played the guitar and sang several popu- lar numbers. Mrs. Glenn Pepper read a poem,. "I rather think I will." An address of good wishes, composed by Mrs. Wilfred An- nis, was read by Mrs. Gordon Aikens. Mrs. Frank Riley gave the call to worship and prayer was offered by Mrs. Jim Preszcator. Scripture reading by Mrs. Ella Jewitt was follower by ii'read- ing on Thanksgiving by Mrs. Jim Preszcator. On a motion of Rathwell, London and Mr. Larry Robinson and Mr_ Don Rathwell were ushers. The organist was Mrs. Kath- leen Beynon 'and soloist was Mr,. George Wilhei. Mrs. Elma Jewitt and Mrs. Reg Lawson it was agreed to send $15 to the Bible Society. Mrs W. L. Whyte gave °a reading and Mrs. Case, the guest speaker, was thanked by Mrs. Elma Jewitt, who presented her with a gift.Mrs. Riley thanked all for taking part' and particu- larly Mrs, Tschanz for her home.
