ding of Joseph Gerrard Mur-
phy and Ellen Emily Connell.
The bride is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Harold Connell,
Seaforth and the groom is the
son of Mr. and Mrs. John Mur-,
hy, Seaforth.
The double ring ceremony
'took place at 2 p.m. "and 'was
performed by Father Laragh.
l\ihrs. Alice Stiles was organist
and accompanied Mrs. Neil Bell
the soloist, when she sang "On
This Day Oh Beautiful Mother",
"Now Thank We All Our God
"Oh Perfect Love" and "The
Wedding Prayer".
Given in marriage by her
father,' the bride chose a floor -
length,.. gown
loor-length„-gown of Legoda lace.
The . _bodice was _styled with el-
bow -length sleeves, scooped
neckline sprinkled with pearls
and bugle beads. A detachable
double layered , chapel train
swept from the back waistline,
trimmed with alencon lace. A
rcrown of seed pearls held a
fingertip French illusion veil.
She carried a bouquet of cres-
cent red, forever yours roses,
with ivy and white tulle
'throughout.
Miss Brenda Butt, Seaforth
was maid of honor in turquois
lace with empire waist with
low scoop neckline atop a slim
sheath skirt of matching chif-,
fon over taffeta. Back interest
featured` a softly flowing panel
of turgdois chiffon topped by
a butterfly bow. Miss Sandra
Merrill, London and . Sharyn
Burke, Staffa and 'Bonnie Dun-

of white poms. The groom's
mother wore a blue crepe dress
and navy accessories with a
white pom corsage. Mr. and
Mrs., Murphy will live in Strat-
ford.

bride was feted at a shower
given by Mrs. Grant Chesney,
Mrs. Chas. -Geddes and Miss
Brenda Butt at Mrs, Geddes'

white Bible with a spray of
sweetheart roses and stepan-

deep mint green dresses sim-

dress. They had panels of silk

floor length dresses with dee

and green baby carnations
and fern. Brian Moore of Eg-
mondville was the ring bearer.

of St. Mary's School of Nurs-
ing, Kitchener.
