The meeting 'of the Happy
Citizens was held Wednesday
afternoon in the Legion Hall,
with six tables of euchre. The

FUNERAL
SAMUEL FAWKES
The death of Samuel Fawkes,
Hamilton, occurred suddenly in
Henderson Hospital on Sunday,
Septeinlies 10, 1967. Mr. Fawkes
had been in poor health for a
time having suffered- a heart
attack some months previo'osly,
but had recovered and, was
home expecting to return to
work shortly. He was employ-
ed by the Gray Coach Lines.
He was a member of the Can-
adian Legion 'Branch 163, and
a former Drum Major, 2nd
Division, Signal Corps Band of
Toronto.
He is . survived by his wife,
the -former Helen Devereaux of
RR 4, Seaforth; his father, Sam-
uel, Toronto;: three sisters, Ann
of Toronto; Edith and May of
Brampton and •a brother,..Geor-
ge of Bramalea.
The remains rested—at-- the
Clark funeral home, 567 Upper
Wellington St.,• Mount Hamil-
ton, until Wednesday at 2:30
p.m. Interment was made in
Holy Sepulchre cemetery.
