In the absence of Mrs. E. Sil- lery, the secretary's report was read by Mrs. Stoll, the roll call was answered by a verse on work. Mrs. N. Sillery read a thankyou note from the Stack- house family. Mrs. Edgar Allan and Mrs. Berry had charge of the devotional part of the meet- ing and opened with singing "Praise God from whom all Blessings Flow" and "The Lord's Prayer" in unison; 'with Mrs. Richardson at the piano. A moment's silence was ob- served in memory of one of our valued members, Mrs... Stack- house. Mrs. Berry read an inter'- esting reading on Labor Day. Mrs. Allan gave 'the topic 'work'.
