fy the surrounding municipals-

that if there was no agreements
by. October lst, 1967, the ser-
vices of the Hensall Fire Bri-
gade would• be discontinued.

WILLIAM G. THOMSON •
Funeral services for the late
William G. Thomson was held
from Bonthron funeral chapel
on Friday conducted by . Rev.
Donald Stuart with burial in
Hensall Union cemetery.
Bearers were Elgin and Bert
Thomson, Ross and Edison For-
rest, Harold and Earl Dignan,
all cousins of the deceased.
Mr. Thomson was killed in an
accident at Reece's Corners, 14
miles east of Sarnia, Aug. 29th
while attempting to cross High-
way 7 to go to a fruit' stand.

Qromoto, N.B., spent the week-
end with his mother Mrs. Janet
MacKinnon. Mrs.' MacKinnon
was also visited on Sunday by
her sou and daughter-in-law, Mr.
and Mrs. WTn. MacKinnon of
London,
Mrs. John Henderson and
family,' Mr. and Mrs. Bryan Un-
•derwood of Gerrie, spent the
weekend holiday with Mr. and
Mrs. Keith Lindsay and family,

Cats and Toronto Argonauts at
Hamilton on Monday, Labor

Mrs, Sian Roobol is a patient
in Clinton Community Hospital,
having been admitted on Thurs-
day last.
Edward Alexander, infant
on of Mr. and Mrs. Ted Norm-
inton of Ottawa, received the
Holy Rites of Baptism at Hen-
sall United Church; Sunday
morning, conducted by Rev. H.
F. Currie. Flowers in the church
sanctuary were in loving mem-
ory of Mary Ellen Plum and
William G. Thomson, placed by
the families.
Mr. and Mrs. Terry North and
Teresa; St. Thomas, spent the
weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Har-
ry Snell.
Hensall WI will resume its
fall meetings, Wednesday, Sept.
13th, at the Legion Hall, at.
8:15 p.m. Roll call, "How you
spent your vacation." Guest
speaker will be Mrs. Robert
Simpson. Pot -luck lunch.
Mr. and Mrs. Don Rigby re-
turned to Blenheim after spend-
ing last week with Mr. and Mrs.
Harry Snell.
Mr. Charles Mickle left Mon-
day for Hamilton where he will
begin his sixth year teaching
History and Geography at the
Westdale Secondary School,
Hensall Public School
Miss Dianne Peck is. replac-
ing Mrs. Helen Scone of Hen-
sall as kindergarten teacher.
Mrs. Scane . served in this cap-
acity for 16 years with the Hen-
sall Public School Board and
Hay Township School Area
Board. In June Mrs. Scane was
