Brown, Egmondville and Ken-
neth Russell Glanville,. son of
Mr. and Mrs. John A: C. Glan-
ville, RR 4, Walton, were un-
ited in marriage in a double
ring ceremony on July 22nd
at 2 p.m. in. Northside United
Church, Seaforth. Rev: Douglas
Fry officiated, The church was
decorated with mauve, ,pink,
yellow and green bows ..on
white with, sliver dace streamers
and baskets of white gladioli
and green ferns. ;
Given in marriage by her
father, tha;.bride wore a" regal
gown of French cotton silk, lin-
ed iri nylon with an A line skirt
and empire 'waist. The 'bodice
was highlighted by a sweet-
heart neckline trimmed in se-
quins and lily -point sleeves. -Her
long French sill lace cape train
flowed• gently from her should-
ers with scalloped edges in
lace leaves and sequins. The
shoulder -length veil was held.
in place with a cluster of ny-
lon sheer bows, leaves and
stems of &a11• pearls and se-
quins. She carried a small
' -Bible- crested with- two -
red roses, ferns and white and
silver lace streamers.
A cousin Of the bride, Miss
Betty -Jean Baker RR 1, Seaforth,
was maid of honor. Doris Bak-
er, er, - R ,1, Seaforth, cousin of
the bride, • Marjorie Glanville,
RR 4, Walton, 'Sister of the
groom, were bridesmaids and
Eileen Glanville, sister of the
groom, was junior bridesmaid.
They were dressed in identical
sheath gowns of floor-Iength
peau de soie in pale. green,
pink, yellow and mauve, with
matching chantilly lace coats
and lily -point sleeves. All had
rhinestone tiaras and carried
small white -Bibles, crested with
white orses, green ferns and
white and silver lace streamers.
Marlen Glanville, RR 1, Wal-
ton, dressed in a pale green
gown the same as the brides-
maids, was 'flower girl for her
brother. The brother of .the
groom, Lorne Glanville, RR 4,
Walton, was best man. Ushers
were Bill Tyndall, RR 3, Clin-
ton, cousin of • the bride, Leslie
Glanville; RR 4, Walton, broth-
er of the groom and Williain
Brown, Jr., Egmondville, broth-
er of the bride ,as junior usher.
Arthur Glanville, RR4, Walton,
brother of the groom, was' ring=
bearer.
Organist for. the occasion,
Mrs. James Stewart, Seaforth,
played the "Wedding March".
Mrs. Cleave Coombs, Egmond-
ville was soloist singing "Hand
In Hand With Thee".
The wedding -dinner took,
place in the -Seaforth Commun-
ity Centre. The bride's mother
received in a Rastel colored
dress of cotton Chiffon with
white and 'brown accessories
and -a white rose corsage. The
groom''-a---mother---assisted.. in an.
aqua lace•sheath dress covered
with aqua fine organdy..A pink
cprsage of roses and white ac-
cessories accented her outfit.
The Community Centre was dec-
orated With pink, mauve, yel-
lowand green ribbons and the
bride's table was centred with
the wedding cake, pink and
'white bells and• colored stream -

ers surrounded it.
Guests at the- wedding-. were
from Stratford, Brucefield, Hen-
sall, Clinton, Dashwood, Kippen,
Dublin, Seaforth, Amherstview,
Walton, Brussels, Exeter, Cred-
iton, Mitchell, Chatham", ' Lon-.
desboro and Galt.
For a wedding trip to the
West Coast, the bride chose a
three-piece cotton and Irish lin-
en . suit yin white, aqua and' red
with red and white accessories.
The couple will reside on the
groom's farm at RR 4, . Walton.

in her floor length gown. „of
organza and chantilly Lace,
fashioned with lace= lily point
sleeves, lace bodice forming
an empire look, graced by a
coat of organza sweeping to
a chapel train. An organza
cluster held a four tiered it
lusion lacer veil.

Brodhagen Community Hall

Dublin and St. Coluniban.
