Registration for July Classes closes June 23

Classes are being arranged for July andstu-
dents are asked to report at the times indicated
in -a story which will 'appear in next week's issue
of this paper.
Red Cross Tests will, be,conducted at the
conclusion of each 'period, and will be
preceded by pre -testing •carried out by
the instruction staff.

PICNIC PAVILION
•The Picnic Pavilion is • available until7.:00 p.m:
each day, without charge, for the use of picnic
groups on a first-come, first-served basis. In the
event of • bad weather, it -will be expected that'
groups will co-operate to permit maximum use
being made of the pavilion protection.
The Pavilion may be reserved each
evening after 7 o'clock for special
gatherings or meetings. .
Reservations may be made at the Park. Rental
fees are related ,to the nature of the event, and
will be advised on request: '

Logan Council
Logan Township -Council pro-
visionally adopted the report of
the sixthconcession drain at
its regular meeting held June
5th. • ,
The FWD true); was sold to
C. Tone, .Ayton, Ont.,: for
300, the highest of two prices
received. The court of revision
was held .on the Dillon Drain;
with minor changes made to
acreage and the by-law was
given three readings. Petitions
for municipal drains affecting
lots 3-5, con. 8, lots 5-6, con. 7,
and lots 33 and 34, con. 4, were•
received and Engineer James
A. Rowes is to be notified to
examine 'it and report back tt •
council. A petition 'stating the
Julius Horn drain is out of re-
pair' -was received. Triton En-
gineering of Orangeville are to
be notified to examine it. The
treasurer was -'authorized, to re-
fund the extra subsidy received
on the following drains: Winter
ham, Kerr, Leggatt, Squire, Jor-
dan, Regan and Grey. Branch
of • N.W. A supplementary by-.
law, requesting approval from
the Department of Highways
for an extra $75,360.00 to be
spent on roads in 1967, was:

length empire crepe gown,
fashioned with bell sleeves and
cathedral train and full-length
lace mantilla veil. • She carried
red roses and ivy.
Marton of honor was Mrs.
Jack Morris of London, sister
of the bride and bridesmaids
were Miss Mary Lou Coyne,
London, sister - of the groom
'and Miss Pauline O'Reilly, Dub-
lin, cousin of the bride. They
wore identical floor -length gowns
of aqua chiffon over yellow taf-
feta with detachable aqua chif-
fon • drapes over the shoulders.
They wore wedding ring match-
ing llead-bands and carried
crescent bouquets of white shas-
tas _nestled in aqua tulle.
The flower' girls, Collen Mor-
ris and Sandra Bunters, nieces
of the bride,•were• dressed in
fulldength. white empire styled
-gowiis• of -chiffon --over-taffeta,
trimmed -with pink rosettes.
Their headpieces, .Were a • - rose
and veil to natoh their dresses.
They carried: a nosegay of pink
rosebuds :and white shastas. The
groom -+•was • attended - -by Mr.
Ken Murray . of • Seaforth as
grooinsinax and •Mr3 Bill Butters,
brother of.. the bride and .-Mr..
Bill, Coyne, Brantford, cousin of
the groom •were:. ushers.
- Fallowing" the ceremony' a re-
ception was held in the Legion
Hall, Seaforth. The bride's mo-
ther received- the guests in a
blue lace dress With snatching
hat and shoes and a.corsage.of
pink roses. The, greom's .moth-
erchose a green crepe dress.
with matching, lace coat with
beige accessories. Hex' corsage
was yellow 'roses.
For travelling to Expo and
the Northern • States, the bride
travelled in a pink dress and
coat ensemble with navy acces-
sories and a white gardenia
corsage. - On their return they
will reside in London.
Mrs. Helen Nagle of. Dublin
and Mrs. Roger Quick of Park-
hill were organists and .Glenn
Butters of London was soloist.
Usborne Council.

Municipal drains were the
main order of business when
Usborne Township Council met
June 6 in Elimville.
Ag Howes, Listowel, was ap-
pointed engineer to study the
Stewart drain. A special coun-
cil meeting was called to dis-
cuss the Elmville drain. C. P.,
Corbett, Lean, was appointed
engineer for the Miller, Tuckey
and Rewcliffe drains.
Council accepted the tender
of L. ,V, Hogarth of Exeter -to
supply 75 gallons of weed spray
at- $5.15 per .gallon. Tile drain-
age loans totalling $5,800 Were
made. Road accounts of $7,289.-
09 and current accounts of $4,-
537.75 were paid. •
It was agreed to charge rate-
payers $1.35 per yard for gra-
vel supplied &wing gravelling
operations. ApPreval was given
to the MacTaggart's Cemetery
Board to enlarge the •cemetery.
