William Gibson. and Mrs.

It was decided. to donate $100
to the Huron -Perth , Tornado
Fund. Mrs. Ross -Sararas took
the chair for the remainder of
the meeting. Mrs. James Drum-
mond read a humorous poem,
"Why I Cannot Pay". Mrs. Er-
nie Whitehouse presented Mar-
ion Roberts with a gift on be-
half of the Institute since Mar-
ion has received her Provincial
Honours in the 4-11 Club work,
The 4-11 girls -presented their
skit "The Cosmopolitan Cab-
bage" in the form of "To Zell
The Truth" program. Mrs.
Grant MacLean read the motto
which had been prepared , by
Miss. Margaret McKay, "It -is
little waste that fills garbage
cans". The history of Ontario
was given by Mrs. Glenn Bell.
"It's your move" program fol-
lowed which created quite a
stir among the contestants.
Mrs. Charles Eyre gave cour-
tesy remarks. •

The 'Centennial meeting was
held in the Town Hall, Wednes-
day evening 'and chaired by
Harold Knight H'ensall's His
tory in booklet form was dis-
played. The books are being sold
by the Hensel Western hats
to promote Frontier Days on
July 14 and 15th ard being sold
by the. Centennial committee.
A parade, a penny carnival and
races are. being planned,for the
children. A fashion and ama-
teur show and car wash' are
also planned in addition the
Western Horse
Show.

guson introduced ,a ski mace,
with four boys on a pair of
skis. The race was enjoyed 13

This was followed by a bon-
fire and wiener -roast,--The--boys-
on having their fill of hot dogs
and roasting marshmellows,
were each presented with a
hockey, trophy for their efforts
in the 1966-67 season, by coach
Wayne Smith and manager
Russell Ferguson. Each boy -al-
so received a "Lucan Shamrock
Tournament" hockey crest.
