Ten contestants were pre- sent from the five Secondary Schools in the county, each one was chosen for the best essay written on Canada's Centenn 1. Contestants were requi ed to speak for seven minutes on what Canada's Centennial meant to them and to give an impromptu' speach. The winner, this year from the Clinton School, is given a two week tour of New York, Unit- ed Nations and Expo. Mr. and Mrs. Earlan Osborn and girls visited on Friday eve- ning with Mr. and Mrs. Howard Qsborn and family of Iulonkton. "How Many Roads" service will be presented in 'Varna and Goshen United Churches .. on Sunday at the regular service times and will- be -conducted by the London Conference Kyros, which involves members from districts of London, Windsor, Chatham, Woodstock and the local area. The theme is based on the folk song, "How Many Roads", showing areas of youth concern in the community and the world.
