Way AtHensall
At a recent Centennial meet-
ing a euitable day was discussed
for a ' Hensall Centennial cele-
bration and a tentative date in
June was set. It is hoped to
have a Saturday parade, car
bash and rodeo. A dance on Sat-
urday night will feature two
bands,' Rock and Roll and Old
Timeand there will be an open
air church service and barbe-
cue on Sunday.
If organizations have ideas
for the celebration, the Centen-
nial committee would be happy
'to hear from them since it
seems difficult to get views for
this community effort.
Included among events to cel-
ebrate
elebrate Centennial this year are:
Brownies and Guides, dinner in
February; Itebekahs, a dessert
_euchre in March; the United
'Church Women, pioneer supper
' ' in April; Hensall WI, centennial
tea in May; the Legion, the' T.A.
choristers 'in . May or June; the
annual Spring Fair, June 20th;
the United Church anniversary
with century service in June.
