Thomas W. Flynn, 59. died
Friday at his home, RR 1 Clin-
ton, Ile had been in poor
health for some time. Mr.
Flynn was a well known farm-
er in Hullett township .and a

son of the late M1'. and Mrs.
Gwen Flynn. Surviving are
sister, Mrs. Maurice (Mary)
Melady, St. Columban; four
brothers, Joseph, Frank and
Theo, all of. Hullett township,
and, James, Clinton. Requiem
high mass was celebrated at

ISAAC ROBERT McGAVIN,

died. Monday in Seaforth Com-
Munity Hospital. He was born
in McKillap Toivaship where he
farmed all -his life until retir-
ing to Seaforth. He was married
to the former Lottie McCully
who predeceased him in 1958.
.1Ie was a member of the United
Church. Nieces and nephews
surviVe. Funeral services were
held from the R. S. Box Funeral
Home on Wednesday at 2 p.m.
with Rev. J. C. jiritton officiat-
ing. Burial was in Pioneer Mem:
oriel Mausoleum.
Pallbearers were Graham
Kerr, Gordon McGavin, Robert
McCully, Alex Dennis, Wilbur
Turnbull and W. J. Leeming.
Flowerbearers were George
McGavin and Fred McGavin.

MRS. LOUIS HILLEBRECHT
Mrs. Louis Hillebrecht, Brod-
hagen, died Tuesday in Seaforth
Community Hospital. She was
the former Louise Marie Gogd-
ner. Barn and educated in Lo-
gan Township, she was a mem-
ber of St. Peter's Lutheran
Church, Brodhagen. Married in
Mitchell in 1923, her husband
died in 1956. Surviving are -one
son, Edgar G. Hillebrecht, of
Brodhagen; two daughters, Mrs.
Alfred E. (Melinda) Beuerman,
Seaforth; Mrs. Wilbur ' C.
(Norma) Hoegy, Brodhagen; one
•sister, Mrs. E. G. (Minnie)
Querengesser, Edmonton; two
brothers, John and George
Gorchter, bath of RR 3, Mitchell
and eight grandchildren. The
body is at the R. S. Box Funeral
name, Seaforth.` -The ' service
will be conducted Friday at 2
p.m. at St. Peter's Lutheran

field was completely destroy-
ed by fire.
A skunk shot a week ago near
the recreation grounds at the
south end of town, was rabid.
Robert S. McKercher of Dub-
lin, has been elected president
of Co-operators Insurance Asso-
ciation.
Helen Elliott was crowned
SDHS Queen at the schodPs
annual formal dance. One of
five nominated for the honor
she was congratulated by prin-
cess Barbara Chesney and prin-
cess Nancy Scott.
A sod -turning ceremony mark-
ing the commencement of con-
struction of the new St. Col-
umban school was carried out
by Most Reverend Gerald Em-
mett Carter, Bishop of London.

as a butcher shop will revert
again to the meat business when
Ruby's Meat Market opens.
A fire believed to ,have been
caused by lightning completely
destroyed a barn belonging to
Mrs. J. E. Murray of McKillop.
