The „Students of both Junior
and Senior $111,1011Y Schools of
First Presbyterian Ghurell• pre-
sented their- anneal Christmas
variety pregram in the church
hall Sunday evening. The pro-
gram was opened ;with a brief
devotional period onducted by
the minister. The large audience
which almost fllled the hall,
joined in the -singing of several
familiar carols ad a fijm strip,
"It MI Began in Bethlehem",
was shown. The film depicted
the never-aanging story of the
Nativity, and trough colored
illustration and eloquent, nar-
ration revealed the glory of
Christ's birth. •
The program included a "Wel-
come" by Steven Ungarian, the
Nativity. Scene portrayed by
Larry McClure, Leanne MIA
Dale Baynham, Steven Hilde-
brand, Bobby Thompson, Val-
erie Sinnamon, while Jane Mor-
ton and 'Christopher Fry sang_
"Jesus Loves Me". These were
all members of the kindergar-
ten class. Steven Hildebrand re-
cited "What Makes Christmas".
Members of the primary class
sang "Rudolph the Red -Nosed
Reindeer" and Douglas Cornish
recited the story of "Herman
the Worm". For the junior
classes Steven Maxwell recited
"The Story of Long Ago", and
Jane Cardno presented "My
Christmas Tree". The intermed-
iate classes were represented by
Murray Sinnamon who played
"Silent Night" as an accordian
solo; Doug Hildebrand, Allan
Coleman, Bruce Malcolm, Jim
Putman, and Bob Carnochan
presented song and music in the
rock and roll fashion. The inter-
mediate girls presented an ac-
rostic "Christmas 'Bells" and
sang a phorus. Guest perform-
ers were Donna and Dianne Hen.

p.m. The Junior and Senior
