The Wingham Cenitennial
Midget Team reached the end
of its schedule Saturday in
Riverside, a suburb of Wind-
sor,
The boys boarded a bus in
Winghava at S;QQ am. €or the
long haul down for an 11 o'
clock game. The effects of the
long bus ride were evidfaht
for the 'game was lost in the
first period. Riverside struck
early and fast and. .by' -the end
of the second period, led 5-1.
Each team scored':lwice in the
third period and the fu' P�ir
score was Riverside 7,W,ing--'
ham 3. Wingham entered the
two -game, total goals series
with high hopes and took a
4-2. decision in the first game
in Harriston. Hank Scott, Sea -
forth scored one of the three
Wingham goals.

Mrs. Grant Dalrymple fell
and broke her hip on the cor-
ner of Main Street on Satur-
day.
Mr. and Mrs. Sam McSpad-
den of Otterville were the
guests of his father, Mr. Zack
McSpadden last week.
Mr. and Mrs. John McLach-
lan were honored by their
family at a dinner at the Com-
mercial Hotel on Sunday on
the occasion of their fifty-fifth
v,edding anniversary.

Mr. and Mrs. James F. Scott
were in Toronto this week at-
tending the funeral of a rela-
