Members were ..reminded
about the 411 achievement days
in Mitchell on Dec. 10, and
Jan. 21. The committee report-
ed that a Christmas gift had
been sent to the Institute's
adopted child in Korea. Hib-
bert's Little Lassies sent an in-
vitation; inviting the members
to a tea in the Staffa Family
Life Centre on Wednesday eve-
ning, Dec. 14.
A report on the area conven-
tion was given by the voting
delegate, Mrs. Ed Chappel. Mrs.
John' Templeman gave a report
on the district directors' ban-
quet at Sebringville, when it
was decided that the Centen-
nial project for the South Perth
district would be layettes for the
Northern Ontario Indians. Bulbs
were given to each -member by
the president, Mrs. Carter Kers-
lake, for another bulb competi-
tion. The members are to dis-
play their bulbs at the Feb-
ruary meeting. A dainty lunch
followed the close of the meet-
ing. -
Mrs. Bob Norris entertained
seven of Patti's friends to a
birthday party for Patti's 10th
birthday on Saturday. The girls
enjoyed an afternoon of skat-
ing at Seaforth Arena. Present
were Linda, Dianne, Carol,, Lee
and Teresa Miller and Ruth and
Mary Jane Templeman.
Mrs. Roy McDonald returned
home from Clinton Public Hos-
pital, last week:

and family attended a surprise
birthday party Sunday at the
home of Mr. and Mrs. Austin
Stlwalm and Susan, Stratford.
