Official opening of . the new
addition to Huronview, Huron
COuiity home, is scheduled for
Thursday, January 12, 1967, Er-
nest Snell, East Wawanosh,
chairinan_of _ board of man-
agement informed Huron coun-
ty Council at it's November
session.
Mr Snell said be had asked
the architect to have the con-
tractor speed) up `the completion
of the work as best he can, so
that everything might be ready
for the great occasion.
The new tying will accommo-
date an additional 75 bed -care
residents, which is expected to
be sufficient accommodation for
a few years at least.
Contracts have now been
awarded for furnishings, drapes,
etc.
The chairman said the De-
pgrtment of Welfare is revis-
ing the regulations governing
homes for the aged and book-
keeping for the home is going
to have to be done at I-uron-
view. Therefore the board is
advertising for additional cler-
ical help, and additional office
equipment will be required if
this change comes into effect.

RELIGIOUS BONDAGE
DEAR DORIS.' - The church
I go to is very strict. Now at
my age of 14. 1 feel I have a
right to decide if I should con-
tinue in the fellowship. My par-
ents are both deeply religious
and I am sure it would break
their hearts if I stopped 'com-
ing.
I am not allowed to. watch
TV, go to movies, f -airs, or join
any clubs at all. I am only al-
lowed-ttr.eat-with people of. my
own denomination.
However„ may I make it clear
that I would- notkeave -until I,
was of mature age:
Bewildered Bob
DEAR BOB - You wouldn't
be normal if •you' weren't a lit-
tle restless. Yet my greatest
sympathy goes to the teen-agers
whose parents have no religion
at all.
As for television and movies,
you aren't missing too much.
You'd rather live it up yourself
than watch somebody else on •a
screen. "And there must be so-
cial activities at school which
don't require joining a club.
The time does come when
each person decides for himself
what he believes and how h.e_
wants to' worship God. Not at
14; but at a more mature age,
as you suggest.
DEAR DORIS - My husband
and I have been married for
three months and nearly every-
thing is perfect. But he is not
satisfied because I can only re-
spond to his love -making with
affection: •
Could there .be something
psychologically wrong with me?
I try- 85 hard because I know it
bothers him.
DEAR BRIDE - Not a thing
wrong,' psychologically or any
other way. Self-expressiontakes
time, andthis applies to ex-
pressing Iove in marriage, as in
other things.
More knowledge would en-
able your husband to be more
helpful and less unhappy. I'm
sending you toy ,list of recom-
mended good reading about
this important part of wedded
life.
DEAR DORIS - Could you
Please tell me how tO make my
,eyes appear larger and brighter
than they really are, without
having a heavy make-up look?
My eyes` are light green. Also, I
would Iike to know how • to
make a nose look thinner.
DEAR GREEN EYES - Ap-
ply this rule: If your make-up
is obvious, you've laid it bn too
thick. You need individual ad-
vice from someone who can
study your coloring and select
the right shades of powder,
foundation, eye shadow,and so
on, for you. Consult thexpert
at yourfavorite cosmetic count-
er.
About your nose: After a
light' foundation, apply a little
darker shade on the sides' of
the nose; repeat this when ap-
plying powder.
I'm sending you .my leaflet
on Make -Up Magic (and • will
tforward this to any other writ-
g in for it. -and . enclosing 10
cents and a stamped envelope).
"To Nurste - Public health

ing. Our. Canadian V.O.N. (Vic-
