the roll call, "One character-
istic of a good tea biscuit".

'Rebekahs Meet
At a brief meeting of Edel-
weis Rebekah Lodge, Monday
evening donations for Christ-
mas were made to the Child-
, ren's War Memorial Hospital,
London and the IOOF and Re-
bekah Hpme at Barrie. The
Noble Grand Mrs. Tillie Dunn
presided.
Sixteen tables enjo'ed a
euchre party following the
meeting. --with winners being
lvdies' high, Mrs. Leslie Mc,
Clure; low, Miss Bessie David -
,son; lone hands, Mrs. 'Tony
Phillips; men's high, John
Bach; low. Zack McSpadden;
lone hands, Albert Baker.
Mrs, Gordon Papple con-
vened a lunch.
Prayer and read the scripture

topic "Time to Listen': was ta
ken -by Mrs. Alvin McDonald

by twelve members and there
was one guest. The regular
Collection was taken, also the
copper collection with Mrs.
Douglas Fraser's side as the
winners. Plans were made for
,the Christmas meeting with
Mrs. Ray Houston's side to
look after the lunch.
