The game was deadlocked
at 2-2 at, the end of the first
period with T. Dick'rand Beut-
tenmiller scoring ler the lo-
cals while Chris Redden and
Clarke Pollock replied for
Fergus.
Seaforth' scored the 1 o n e.
goal of the.sec e re•d period
when BW McLaughlin scored
on a peffect pass from de-
fenceman Bill Muir�
Fergus came out strong in
the third period`and tied the
score on a goal by,,Gerd Nol-
an. Hiewev�er, .the locals boun-
ced right back on a goal by
Beuttenmiller, his second, to
take 'a 4-3 lead. Fergus once
again tied the score with Cliff
Turner counting. Jaek MCL)=
wain scored what' proved to
be the 'winner on a pass from
Beuttenmiller. Beutterrmiiler
gave the Beavers an insur-
ance goal with less than three
minutes remaining, his third,
to wrap up the victory.
The next home game for the
Beavers will Obe T'u es d a y,
November 29th when Hespel-
er will be in Seaforth.
