Champions wasted no time in
getting off to a good start this
season when they downed the
Hespeller Mic-Macs 7-5 in
Hespeller Tuesday night. The
Beavers led 3-1 at the end of
the first period and never
looked back. Jack McLlwain
took advantage of a He-aaeller
penalty as he converted pas-
ses from Ken Doig and Jim
Dick at ft -.54._ Seaforth then
scored two goals in'less' tha'n
two minutes. Ken Doig got
the first on a pass from Jack
McLlwain at 111.0, Then Jack
,McLliwain scored hip second
goal at 12:12 on passes from
Ken Doig and Ray Anstett.
Hespeller finally found the
range with less than a minute
to go in the- first"period, when
Lloyd Mercer flipped the,
nuck past Cliff Petrie in the
Seaforth net.
Hespeller - came, mit a little
stronger in the middle frame
and scored at 2:36 with Mar-
tin being the marksman. Jim
Dick put the Beavers ahead
4-2 whe nhe scored from Ken
Dojo and Jack McLlwain at
9:44. Hespeller then got two
goals to tie the score 4-4. O'-
Krafta ,scored at 13:05 and
Mercer scored his second for
Hespeller at 17.23. Just 15 sec -
