A very pretty wedding was
solemnized in First Presbyter-
ian Church, Seaforth, on Oc-
tober Sth, at 3 p.m. .when Mar-
ian Joan Hemberger and Rob -
p1 ert Wayne Clafrk were united
in marriage. Rev. Douglas O.
Fry performed the ceremony.

waspeau de sole. The long
train of peau de soie had lace
edging on each panel and was
attached at back by two bows.
The illusion veil was held by
a tiara of pearls and crystals.
She carried a cascade of white
andpink roses.
Mrs. Ken Willis was matron
of._honor. and- Miss Christie
Dobson and Miss Joanne M•a-
lc ne were bridesmaids. They
were --gowned alike in royal
blue floor length.A-line
with empire waistline, high -
neckline, and elbow length
sleeves. A panel at the back
was attached at the waistline
with a bow, They carried blue
tinted carnations.
A reception was held at the.
Legion Hall, Seaforth,..
For travelling the bride
wore a heathertone blue wool
suit with black accessories
and corsage of white carna-
tions and mums.
They will reside in Sea -
forth.
Crozier- Lane
High mass was sung when
Neil Edward Crozier, and
Mary Frances Lane were unit-
ed .in marriage in St. James'
'Roman Catholic Church on
October 22nd last at 2. _p ;m.
The marriage was ,performed
by Rev. Father Laragh. The
Church was decorated wit h
yellow and bronze mums.
The bride is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Mervin Lane, of
RR 4 .Seaforth and the groom
is the son of Mr. and. Mrs. An-
drew Crozier, RR 2 Seaforth.
Mr. Richard Muegge, Sea
forth, was groomsman and the
ushers were Robert Sharp, of
Waterloo, Rbbrt Reynolds, of
Stratford and Robert Dapple,
of Seaforth. The ring bearer
was Jim Fountain.
The organist, .,Miss Alice
Stiles accompanied' the soloist,'
Mrs Mel Acheron When she
sang "Ave arie", "Lord I
am not Worthy", and "On this
day Oh Beautiful Mother."

French illusion, lace with A-

light roses. and ivy,
Miss Katherine Thiel, Lon-
don was the maid of honor.

maids. They were gowned a-

dresses with French crepe
skirts and illusion lace tops,
elbow length sleeves, green
satin shoes, and white wrist
gloves. They carried bouquets
of bronze mums in matehing
green netting. v
A reception was held at the
Seaforth Legion Hall. The
bride's mother received in a
.raspberry red crepe dress
with matching accessories and
corsage of pink carnations.
The groom's mother wore a
black "and blue dress with
matching accessories and a
corsage of pink carnations. •
For the wedding trip to the
Thousand Islands and Mont-
real the bride wore a two-
piece suit of blue and 'black
brocade with black accessor-
ies and a corsage of pink de-
light roses.
They will reside. at 'RR 2,

Kippen
The young people Of Bruce -
field and Kippen churches met
at the home of Rev. Donald
Stuart; Sunday evening. The
meeting was opened with the
worship conducted by Jo -Anne
Aldwinkle and Lynda Work-
man.
There was a group discus-
sion on church Union. Recrea-
tion followed aid lunch was
served by Mrs. Stuart..
1Vlr. Bill Coleman was taken
to South Huron Hospital, Ex-
eter Thursday after being in-
volved in an accident in a
power takeoff et his home.
He is reported to be improv-
ing. at this date.
1VIr. Bochus Faber recently
returned home by plane from
a business trip to Qalgary.

his nephew, Lloyd, were in
