Mrs. Thomas J. McMichael

home in Creiderich Thursday,
October 13, in her 87th year.
She was the former Margaret
E. Scott, daughter of the late
Christine McArter and Adam
Scott, and was born in Morris
Township. After her marriage
in 1905, she lived on the 3rd
Concession of Hullett Town-
ship, later moving to Auburn,
then to Goderieh.
Surviving are one son, Rob-
ert of Walton, and two daugh-
ters, Evelyn of Goderich, and
Marjorie, Mrs. William J.
Dale of Clinton, as well as
seven grandchildren and five
great grandchildren. She was
predeceased by her husband,
in 1959 and a son Gordon in
1927...
Funeral services were held
on Saturday at 2 p.m. from
the Lodge Funeral Home, in
Goderieh, with Rev. S. Mil-
ler officiating. Interment fol-
lowed in Maitlandbank Ceme-
tery,Seaforth. Pallbearers
were Elwin Jones, Stanley
Bean, Harold Allen, Elmer
Umbach, Leonard Rodges and
Arnos Osbaldston. Flower -
bearers were Wayne McMich-
ael. Don Glousher, Murray
Scott. Stewart Dale, Oliver
Wright and Elgin Penfound.

MRS. DAVID LEMON , a highly esteemed resident of
Funeral services for the late Tuckersmith Township where
Mrs. David Lemon, who died
in Seaforth Community Hos-
pital on October 12, in her
74th year, were held on Fri-
day at 2 p.m. from the G. A.
Whitney, Funeral Home with
Rev. J. C. Britton officiating.
Interment followed in Mait-
land Barfk Cemetery.
Pallbearers were six nep-
hews, Wilfred Wolfe, Sam
Wolfe, Laverne Wolfe, Howard
Lemon, Stanley Lemon, and
John D u n n. Flowerbearers
were grandsons, David Lemon
Jr. ,and Jack Lemon.
LEO D. FLYNN
Requiem High Mass was cele-
brated by Rev. Father Reinhart,
in St. Francis of Assise Church,
Montreal for Leo D. Flynn, who
passed away on Oct. 12, 1966,
and burial was in Cote ele Nei-
gis cemetery,
Surviving are his wife, the
former Louise Quesnel, a daugh-
ter, Mrs. Stan Nisbet (Noreen)
of Armocto, N.B., a son, Charles
of Grimsby, Ontario; two. grand-
children, Michael and Lisa
Flynn, a brother, Thomas, of
Seaforth, four sisters, " Mrs.
John Curran, (Eulola) of Cooks-
ville, Mrs, E. J. B. Duncan,
(Loretta), Mrs. t F. Thompson,
(Ann) and Mrs. L. Rowland,
(Tena) of Toronto.
Mr. Flynn was predeceased
by: his parents Mr. and Mrs.
Dominje:- Flynn of Clinton, a
brother, John, Detroit.

Mr. Robert L. MacLean,. of
RR 2 Kippen, passed away on
Tuesday in South Huron Hos-
pital, Exeter, where he had
been'a oatient for five weeks.
He was 76.

at 2 p.m. conducted by Rev.
Harold Currie, with interment,
following in Exeter cemetery.
MRS. WILLIAM B. CROSS
Mrs. William B. Cross, high-
ly esteemed resident of Hen.
sall, passed away in St. Jos-
eph's Hosatal, London, Wed-
nesday; October 19, following
a major operation. She was
73.' She was 'the former Leola
Pearce. Mrs. Cross was very
active in the United Church
of which she was a member.
She was a former president
of the WMS for 12 years and
was treasurer of Unit 4, UCW
at the time of her death. She
was a valuecj member of Hen -
S211 W. I. Her husband, a for-
mer manager of the Bank of
Montreal in Hensel', • prede-
ceased her in February, 1956.
Surviving are one daughter,
Marigold, Mrs.. 'Donald Rob-
inson, London; four sisters,
Jane, Mrs. James Pringle,
Chatsworth, Miss Mary Pearce
Toronto, Valerie, Mrs. Hugh
Collins, Galt, Alma, Mrs. S. E.
Kidd, Desboro ;three brothers
Percy, Kinkardine, Rufus1, of
Toronto, and Harvey of Van-
couver; and four grand child-
ren.
Public funeral service ‘vill
be held on Friday, October 21,
at 11 a.m. from Bonthron
Funeral Home with the Rev.
H. Currie officiating. Burial
will be in Chesley Cemetery.
