Given in marriage by her
father, the bride chose a floor -
length gown of white peau de
sole styled with sheath skirt,
with bow at waistline in back.
The empire bodice, was trine
med with lace featuring .a Sab-
rina peckline and long lilypoint
sleeves. The removable cathed-
ral train was trimmed with wide
scalloped chantilly lace. A tiara
of cut crystals held her shoul-
der -length veil edged with
chantilly lace. She carried a
bouquet of red r roses and white
mums.
The maid of honor was Miss
Joanne VanVugt; sister of the
bride.
Mr. Ronald Hamilton of Gode-
rich, was groomsman and the
guests were ushered by .Mr.
Grant McPherson.
A reception was held in the
Elm Haven Motor Motel, Clin-
ton. The bride's mother receiv-
ed in a blue empire style dress
with lace bodice and black ac-
cessories and a corsage of red,
roses. The groom's mother
chose a red two-piece suit with
white accessories and a corsage
of red rosea.
For travelling to the United
States, the bride wore a. pink
empire dress with pink lace
coat and pink and white acces-
sories. A corsage of white mums
and red roses completed, her
ensemble.
Mr. and Mrs. Hamilton will
reside in Stratford,
Guests were present from et-
tawa, Teeswater, Stratford,
Lucknow, Willowdale, Kitchen-
er, Milverton, Hensall, Belfast,
Winebam, LindsaY, London, Rip-
ley, Sebringville, Egmondville,
Seaforth and Goderich.

Lutheran Church, at 'Kingston,
from 1949-1957. Ile was called
by B.A. to $t. Jamee' Lutheran
Church, Renfrew, in February,
1962 and served that parish un-
til the end of September, 1966.
While there he served a two-
year term as president of the
ministerial association, one and
a half years on the Bonnechere
Valley School Authority for re-
tarded children and advisor to
the Renfrew Youth Fellowship.
He was serving as chairman
of the stewardship • committee
ofe the Eastern District of the
Eastern Canada Synod and on
the Lutherlyn Camp committee
until resigning from St James'
Renfrew.
Pastor Lossing has served on
the executive of Synod, the ev-
angelism committee, steward-

Ladies' Aid Meets
• Miss Jennie Hogg of McKillop
was the guest speaker at the
fall meeting of the Ladies' Aid
of , Pith Church, on Tuesday.
MFS. F. Kling, the president, was
in the chair and the meeting
was in charge of the Agar -Cole-
man group. Mrs. W. Coleman
opened with the poem, "The
Centennial Tree". Mrs. Margaret
Messenger read the scripture
lesson, followed by prayer in
which the group remembered
Mrs. D. 0. Fry in the loss of
her fathee.
Miss Jean Scott reported
$421.86 in the bank. Mrs.
Kling explained plans for the
Plowing Match. The Bazaar
was discussed and it is hoped
that everyone is working for
this event which takes place in
November. It was decided to
buy ferns for 'the church. Miss
Hogg in her, address spoke on
"Giving Thanks" for the things
we are blessed with. She told
of the first Thanksgiving which
was held in 1763. She also re-
peated the poem "Give some-
thing away if you want to be
gay". Miss Sandra Coleman
sang "How Great Thou Art",
and accompanied herself on
the piano. Miss Marion Grey
expressed the thanks of the
group to the speaker and solo-
ist.
