Mr. Harold Jackson will be the Auctioneer, and the
conditions of the sale will be as follows:
The Sale of the contents will be cash at the time of
the sale, and Sales Tax will be charged where applicable.
On the Land and 'Buildings, purchasers will be expected
to pay 10% of the successful bid and the balance will be
payable in 30 days.
Purchaters of the Land will be expected to pay the
costs of conveyance and transfer of title from the school
board to the buyer.
There is no reserve • bid on any of the foregoing ar-
ticles and the selling price will be subject to the jurisdic-
tion of the Buyer.

lin United Church, on Saturday,
Aug. 20th, at 2:30 p.m. Rev. W.

The bride -is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. George , Drager,
Seaforth, and the groom is the
son of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Ab-
bott, RR 4, Thorndale, Ont. .
The church was effectively
decorated with candelabra and
floral arrangements of pink
gladioli and large white mums
Mrs. C. W. Runnels was organ-
ist and accompanied the soloist,
Mr. Ross Peirson, London, who
sang "The Lord's Prayer" and
"The Wedding Prayer".

Given in marriage by her
brother, Raymond Drager, Lon-
don, the bride choSe a floor -
length gown of peau de soie,
fashioned in a princess line,
scooped neckline and lily point
sleeves, alencon lace, appliques
around the neckline and down
the front of the dress. A chapel
train with alencon lace appli-
ques was held ' to the waist
with two small bows. Her head-
piece, a crown of crystals and
pearls, held herdouble-tiered
veil of pure silk French illusion
She carried a cascade of sensa-
tion roses, stephonitis and pol-
ished ivy.
The attendants were Mrs. Al-
bert Price, sister of the bride,
London, as matron of 'honor;
Mrs. Rayniend CroSe, site' ot
the groom, Sarnia; And Miss
Paula Vander Beeton, ,Strath-
roy. The flower girl was Peggy
Price,London, niece of the'
bride. They all wore floor -length
empire gowns of candy pink
crepe, the bodices with scooped
neckline and bell shaped sleeves
were of lace. A watteau panel
held by a bow gave the gowns
back interest. Their veils were
held by. matching headdresses.
They carried cascades of roses,
mums and leather ferns. The
flower girl carried a nosegay
of pink roses and baby mums.
The ring • bearer was Bradley
Cross, Sarnia, nephew of the
groom,
Ronald Abbott, Thorndale,
brother of the groom was best
man. Raymond Cress, Sarnia,
brother-in-law of the groom and
Harvey Drager, Brantford, bro-
ther of the bride ushered guests.
The wedding reception was
held in the Crumlin Church par-
lours after which the couple
left on a trip to Eastern Ontario
and United States.
For travelling the bride don-
ned a brown linen suit with
matching accessories. She wore
a corsage of cymbidium orchids.
Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Abbott
will reside in London, Ontario.
Guests were present from Tor-
onto, Seaforth, Glencoe, Lon-
don, Dorchester, Brodhagen, De-
troit, Bothwell, Sarnia, Strath-
roy, • Windsor, Brantford and
New Buffalo, Mich,

October. Mrs. Carl Payne re-
ported concerning the centen-
nial project.

Baskets of pink gladioli and
white mums decorated St. Pet-
er's Church, St. Joseph's, Sat-
urday, Sept. 10th; at 2 o'clock,
when Elizabeth Ann Denornme
of London, and Albert Keith An-
derson of London, exchanged
marriage vows in a double ring
ceremony before Rt. Rev. Msgr.
Bourdeau. The bride is the
daughter. of Mr. and. Mrs. Remi
Denomme, RR 2, Zurich, and
the groom's parents are Mr. and
Mrs. John Anderson, RR 2, Hen-
sel'.
• Given in marriage by her
father, the bride wore a formal
floor -length white gown in peau
de soie, fashioned in slim lines.
The sheath line' was daintily
trimmed with re -embroidered
alcelon lace , at neckline and
hemline with lily point sleeves.
An over -skirt draped from the
skies of the front of the gown
and extended into a cathedral
train. A full bouffant veil was
draped from a peau de soie rose
head piece dotted with seed
pearls. She carried a cascade
of 'minature white carnations
and pink rasps. •
• Bridal attendants, Mrs. Des-
mond. Sawa, of London, sister
of the bride was matron of hon -
ore -She wore a pelican pink sata
peau gown. The design of the
gown was floor -length with em-
pire lines, puritan sleeves and a
flowing back panel. She wore a
matching rose head piece with
seeded pearls and carried a
nosegay of white daisies with
trailing moss green ribbon.
Bridesmaids, Mrs. Robert Mer-
ner of Zurich, and Miss Debra
Anderson,' Hensall, sister of the
groom.; were gowned identical
to the matron of honr.
Mr. Douglas Mann, Hensall,
brother-in-law of the groom,
was groomsman and Mr. Lloyd•
Denomme. Zurich, .brother of
the bride and Mr, Donald John-
son, Waterford, ushered guests.
Mrs, Stephen Meidinger, solo-
ist, sister of the bride, sang "0
Perfect Love" and "On This
Day", and was accompanied by
tire organist, Mrs. Henry Rau.
At a reception held at the
Dom inien Hotel, Zurich, for
135 guests, the bride's mother
received in an original dress of
Alice blue crepe with a short
Scalloped bodice, short sleeyes,
with' matching pale blue hat and
white gloves. She wore a cor-
sage of gold roses. She was as-
sisted by the groom's mother
who wore an ensemble in gold
silk shaptung with black and
green accessories. She wore a
corsage of talisman roses.
For a wedding trip to Smith -
ern Untied States, the bride
travelled in an Oyster Italian
straw silk suit in sheath lines
with hipped jacket and puritan
sleeves. She wore matching
brown accessories and an orchid
corsage. Both the bride and
groom are employed by the
Department of Highways,. Lon-
don. •
They will reside in London.
Following rehearsal Friday
evening, the bridal party were
entertained at the home of the
groom's parents, Mr. and Mrs.
John Anderson. RR 2, Hensall.
