Game 15 was split six ways. ,i FUNERAL MRS. ELLEN M. FRANCIS Mrs. Ellen M. (Scott) Francis, wife of Mr, Oran R. Francis, of 451 Drew Sty, Woodstock, pas- sed away in Woodstock General Hospital, on Sunday, Aug. 28th, on her 86th birthday. She was born in Hibbert township, the daughter of • the late Mr. and Mrs. James Scott. After her marriage in 1905, she moved with her --husband to Cassel, where they operated a cheese factory. They later moved to Bright and then to Woodstock in 1938. Mrs, Francis was an active member of Central United Church there, president of the Friendship Club and past -presi- dent of the Oxford Prebyterial• of the Women's Missionary So- ciety: Surviving' besides her husband are three daughters, Mrs. Newton (Mary) Brown, of Peterborough; Mrs. Jack (Hel- en) Town, Woodstock; Mrs. Rus- sell (Beth) Ferguson, Plattsville; a son, James H., Tavistock; and a sister, 'Mrs, Kenneth McKellar, Cromarty; ten grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren also survive. Funeral service was held on Tuesday, August 30th, at the F. E. Rowell funeral home, 134 Riddell St., Woodstock. Burial took place in Oxford Memorial Park cemetery.
