Mrs. Gary Collyer, Vin- cent and Leslie of Sudbury visited with Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Johnston and attended the Johnston-Buffinger wed- ding at Clinton last Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Bew- ley, Mary and Brenda have -eturned form a motor trip to Northern Ontario. Mr. and Mrs. Horace Rut- ledge and family .of London visited over the weekendwith the Humphries and Bennett families. Darlene Hayter gave an instrumental on the piano. Mrs. William Eatwell of Bedford, England, spoke on the customs of England and her impressions of Canada, Plans for the booth at the Plowing Match were discussed and each member is asked to take four homemade covered pies in large aluminum pie plates. ' The annual smorgasbord -supe per is being held Oct. 5th, with groups three and four.in charge. There will be a cleaning bee at the church on Sept. 21: .
