Legion Hall, with Mrs. William

city starting with their first in-
itial and told what it was noted
for.
Reports of the different com-
mittees were given by Mrs.
Grace Sararas, uses of bleach;.
Mrs, Cecil Pullman, making of
cornflower crystal; and`,, Mrs.
Robert Kinsman, history of the
plow.
Ronald Eyre of Egmondville
shp}ved slides and told how they
can be used in teaching. He al-
so showed a safety film, "The
Second Car". Mrs. John Sinclair
gave the motto, "The shortest
way to do many things is to
do them one at a time". Mrs.
James Drummond gave a read-
ing and Mrs. Ernest Whitehouse
told of East Wawanosh history.
Mrs. Kenneth McKay conduct-
ed a- contest after which a de-
licious lunch was served by Mrs.
Alex McGregor, Mrs, R. Hoorn-
aert, Mrs. William Gibson and
Mrs. Glenn Bell.
.Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Tudor
and Jerry left Tuesday morn-
ing for a vacation. They will
visit their son Jim who is gradu-
ating front the RCMP training
school in Regina. Mr. Tudor will
remain,fore week and will re-
turn home by plane: Mrs. Tud-

tives in Alberta for an extend-
ed visit.

Co. Ltd., Toronto.

The bride is the daughter of
Mrs. Charlotte Hunt, London,
and Mr. Harvey Hunt of Falcon -
bridge, and the groom is the
son of Mr. and Mrs. William
Brown, Jarvis St., Seaforth. Rev.

Richard Stewart, of London, of-
ficiated before a setting of
white .mums and pink gladioli.
The bride on the arm of' her
brother, David . Hunt, London,
wore a floor length wedding
gown of white French peau de
soie. •The bodice was highlight-
ed by a scooped neckline, long
lily -point sheath sleeves and a
natural waist. Elegance was
portrayed in the gently control-
led sheath skirt, while a detach-
able chapel' train cascaded at
the back. The entire gown was
strewn with . appliques of the
most delicate chantilly lace. To
complete her bridal outfit, the
bride wore French pure silk il-
lusion finger tip veil caught up
by .a rosette headpiece. She car-
ried a cascade of deep pink
roses.
Lynn Hunt, London, sister of
the' bride and Mrs. Carol Cart-
er, sister of the groom, were
bridesmaids and Rae Hunt,
London, sister of the bride was
the maid of honor, They were
gowned alike in floor length
gowns of white crepe sateen.
The bodices of aqua hand paint-
ed lace, featured empire waists,
were sleeveless and were accent-
ed by a matching aqua bow at
the front followed by stream-
ers. To add a final touch to their
ensembles, the bridesmaids
wore matching aqua headpieces
formed into tiny petals. They
carried white and aqua tinted
carnations.

The Staffa Women's Insti-
tute held their annual picnic
in. the hall last Wednesday
due to the. weather. Over 50
sat down , to a picnic dinner

Park, the bride chose a blue
lace dress, white accessories and
corsage of pink sweethart roses.
They will reside; in Hamilton.
