Pauline Thamer, daughter of
Mr. and Mrs.- William Tliamer,
,Walton, and Alexander Gulut-
zen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Alex-
atider Gulutzen, RR 3, Walton,
exchanged wedding vows on
July 9th, at 3 p.m., in Walton
United Church, with Rev. Allan
Johnson, Brussels, officiating at
the double ring ceremony.
The bride was given. in mar-
riage by her father before a set-
ting of baby mums and white
gladioli and a candlebra. She
chose a floor length dress of
flowered brouquet with, a scal-
loped neckline, a fitted bodice
and long 'lily point sleeves.' Her
net veil was in an organza rose
style with applicade,
Sister of the bride, Shirley
Thamer,, was the plaid of ,hon-
or, and the bridesmaids were
Anne Holt, Jamestown; Dorothy
Gulutzen; Brussels; and Judy
Thamer, sister of the bride.
Ruth Thamer, sister of the
bride, was flowergirl.
The maid of honor wore a
street length dress of yellow
flowered _brouquet. 'The brides-
maids wore dresses of lilac
flowered brouquet and mint
green, and lemon yellow brou-
quet. The flower girl wore
white brouquet similar to the
bride.
'Michael Gulutzen, Brussels,
was the groomsman and the
ushers were John Thamer, Wal-
ton, brother of the ,bride, and
Louis .Cardiff, Brussels, cousin
of the groom.
Organist, Mrs.. Rae Heuther,
Walteii, accompanied the Solo-
ist, Donald McDonald, also of
Walton.
For the wedding' trip to
Northern Ontario, the bride.
chose a powder blue cotton
knit _suit, with white accessories
and a corsage of red roses',
.At the reception, held in the
Brussels Legion Hall, the bride's
mother received in a /dress of
white bonded lace over mint
green with matching hat, white
accessories and a mauve. cor-
sage. The mother of the groom
wore a dress of blue lace with
white accessories and a mauve'
corsage.
Guests attended from Manito-
ba, Orillia; Cleveland, Barri ,
Markham, Guelph, London, T' -
sonburg, Sarnia, Stratfor ,
Brussels, and Seaforth.
The couple will reside in,. al -
ton.
TERESA ELIZABETH SHEA, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Joseph Shea, Dublin, and Jerome Albert Lassaline, Toronto,
son of Mr. and Mrs,. Norman Lassaline, Centralia, were wed
in St. Patrick's Church, Dublin, on July 23. The couple will
reside in Toronto.

land; and Carl Mulcahey, Wes-
ton.
At the reception in the church
hall, the bride's mother receiv-
ed in Elizabeth blue chiffon,
over taffeta with matching
shoes and bag and white acces-
sories and a corsage of. white
carnations. The • mother of the
groom wore a• pale pink sheath
style dress with overlay' of
white lace and a matching hat
with white accessories and a
white carnation.,corsage.
For the wedding trip to the
east coast the bride chose a
two-piece deep pink linen suit
with white accessories and cor-
sage of white carnations.
The couple will reside at 306
Dufferin St., Flirt Erie, Ont.
Both the bride and groom are
at present teaching on the staff
of the Fort Erie Board of Edu-
cation.
Pre -Nuptial Events
A shower was given in hon-
or of the 'bride-to-be in Wel-
land, by the groom's mother,
and his sister, Mrs. Carl Mul-
cahey.
Another shower was given by
the ladies of Egmondville
United Church.
The couple received • many
gifts from the students and
staff of the Fort Erie Schools.
The bride's mother entertain-
ed at a tea in honor of her
daughter at her home. Gifts
and trousseau were displayed
by Marjorie Papple, Edith
Boyd, Mrs. John Consitt and
Dorothy 13oyes.
Tea was served by aunts of
the., beide Mrs. i3d Boyes, Mrs.
Mussell Rayter and Mrs. Mac
Chesney..

abra formed the setting for the
ceremony. uniting in marriage

James William Frazer, at Eg-
mondville United Church, July
16th.
The bride is the daughter. of
Mr. and Mrs, Alex F. Chesney,
RR 3, Seaforth and the groom
is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Har-
old Frazer, 205 Price Ave., Wel-
land. -•
Rev. Alan Scott officiated at
the double ring ceremony. Solo-
ist, Mr. J. G.• Burrows, Exeter,
was accompanied by Mrs. Don
Carter. -
Given in marriage by her
father, the bride chose a bem-'
berg floor length gown with a
bodice of cooley lace, a scoop
jewel neckline and elbow length
sleeves. The dress featured a
princess line waist with an.
line skirt and detachable chapel
train trimmed with matching
lace. Her bouffant veil was held
by a double crown of crystals
and' pearls. She carried a cres-
cent shaped bouquet of pink
delight roses with trailing ivy.
Marjorie Papple, RR 4, Sea -
forth, was the maid of honor.
The bridesmaids were Dorothy
Bayes, Egmondville, Barbara
Chesney, Seaforth, and Mrs.
Carl Mulcahey, Weston. Flow-
ergirl was Betty Upshall, Crom-
arty. They wore identical floor
length gowns of pelican pink
sats peau fashioned with sheath
skirts and scooped necklines.
They wore headdresses Of blend-
ed pink roses with matching
veil and carried cresttl1t bou-
quets of white starburst pours,
with pinktulle and stephanotis
leaves,
