Miss Karen Alexander, Mrs. Art Alexander and Mrs. Ernest Toll prepared a bride book. Mrs. Les Dohnage won a prize for the wedding anniversary nearest July 23rd. Other win- ners were: lucky chairs, Miss Karen Alexander and Mrs. Sa: die Shannon; great grandmoth- er, having the most grand child- ren, Mrs. William Somerville; longest distance, Miss L. Tal- bot; birthday closest to July 23rd, Mrs, Salvador. The ; program consisted of piano solos by Barbara McClure and Jean Hillen; two readings, "My sweetheart" and "Your wedding" by Mrs. Ernest Toll and community singing with Miss Jean Hilien at the piano. Mrs. Wilson Little, Mrs. Ken Beattie and Elaine were invited to the front of the room where corsages were presented to them The gifts were opened and passed around, after which Miss Beattie thanked all those pre- sent. A matching train, felr from the . waist. Her three -tier- ed veil was held by a pillbox hat accented with pearls. She carried a cascade of yellow roses, stephanotis and ivy. The maid of honor was Dianne Bannister, Toronto, and• the bridesmaids were Beverly Scru- ton, London; Jane Monerief, Goderich, and Margaret' Bell, Montreal, cousin of .the bride. The flower girls were Kathy Jewitt, Seaforth, niece of the groom; Mary Jane Erskine, Goderich and Susan Schaefer, Goderieh.
