was conducted by the presi-
dent, Jack SIeare with Doro'-
thy'Warren as secretary.' Qf-
ficers elected for 1957 were
President, Mr, Jack Speare,
Agincourt; secretary -treasur-
er, Mrs. Helen Shute, Kirk -
top. The 1967 reunion will be
hold at the hetne of ` Mr. and
Mervin Shute, Kirkton.

Cromarty church. The- f i v e
day school had an average at-.
tendange of 74. Rev. H. F;
Currie of Hensell and Chisel-
burst directed the school and
taught the senior class. The
closiing program on Friday
night consisted of singing un-
der the direction of Mrs. El-
mer D o two and recitations,
from each class. Books and
handiwork were displayedin
the basement of the church.
The graduates were Brenda
Dow, Jean Cole, Gerry Sara-
ras, Shirley Brintnell', and
Geraldine Templeman. Teach-
ers and assistants were:
Misses Joan Dow, Beth Chris-
tie, Darlene Templeman -and
Mrs. Alvin Cole. Primary,
Mrs. Alex Miller, Mrs. Ed
Chappel, ,Misses Karen Sara-
ras, Ruth Ann Coleman, Jan-
ice Wright and Janet Allen.

wedding vows in St. Columban
Roman Catholic Church, on Sat-
urday, July 16, at 11 ami.
Father L. G. Coughlin per-
formed the double ring cere-
mony. The ' organist, Mrs. Vin-
cent Lane, accompanied the
soloist, Jack Lane, who sang
"Immaculate Mary" and "On
This Day".
Given in marriage by her
father, the bride chose a floor
length gown of peau de soie,
with a cathedral train appliqued
with French imported chantilly
lace. The lace covered bodice
was styled with bell sleeves.
Iler shoulder length French il-
lusion veil was held by rosettes
of silk organza. She carried a
bouquet of orange delight roses
with carnations, and ivy.
The bride was attended by
Dianne Murray, Walkerton, as
maid of honor, and bridesmaids,
Jaonne Stapleton and Marjorie
Cook, both of Dublin. They
wore floor length gowns of
frosted• apricot pata-peau. They
carried bouquets of carnations
with a centre of orange delight
roses, Colleen Ryan was the
flower girl.
Groomsman was Ken Staple-
ton, Dublin, and the guests were
ushered by Don Murray, RR 1,
Dublin, sand Jack Stapleton,
Dublin. ingbearer. was Murray
Costello.
The mother of the bride wore
an aqua lace sheath dress, with
a matching three quarter length
coat and white accessories, with
an orchid corsage. The groom's
mother chose a pale pink dress
with matching ' jacket and pink

Spadden and his recent bride.
Rev. McSpadden is the son of
Mr. and' Mrs. William G. Mc-
Spadden of McKillop and he
has a charge ;at Big River,
Saskatchewan. A program was
presented with Rev. J. C. Brit-
ton as chairman. The program
consisted of: piano solo, Brenda
Little; duet, . Julie Blanchard
and Miss Dalton; guitar solo,
Raymond Beattie; readings by
Mrs. William Church„ James
Axtmann and Mrs. Robert
Campbell, Jr.
Mrs. Ernest Toll read an ad-
dress and Eric Anderson and
Donald Dodds presented Mrs.
McSpadden with a silver tea.
service and Rev. McSpadden
with a purse of money. Among.
those present were Mr. and Mrs.
am- McSpadden and two
daughters, Marlene and Karen.

Seaforth, from Montreal, Tor-
onto,' Sarnia, London, Kitchen-
er, Thorold, Galt,' St. Thomas,
Peterborough and Guelph.
After their wedding trip to
the Maritime Provinces, the
couple are now residing at 770
Elizabeth St., Kitchener.

Betty Anne Rowson, daugh-
ter of Mr.. and Mrs. E. Rowson
of Kapuskasing, Ontario, ex-
changedwedding vows with
James Alfred Chappel, Gerald -
ton, Ontario, son of Mr, and
Mrs. Filmer Chappcl, Cromarty,
at Kapuskasing, with the Rev.
Dr. A. Lavendar officiating, on
July 2nd, 1966, . at 4:30 p.m.
Mr. T. Jewell, organist, played
his own composition of music.
The bride, who was given in
marriage by her father, chose
a dress of peau de soie, with
lace jacket and train from
waistline. The chapel veil fell
from a flower headdress. She
carried red roses and white
carnations. .
The bride' was attended by
'Jocelyn Paris, • Geraldton; as
maid of honor and bridesmaids
were Linda Rowson. cousin of
the bride and Patricia Rowson,
sister of the bride. They wore
matching dresses of turquoise
peau de soie, viith empire waist-
lines, white lace sleeves with
flower lleadresses to match. ,
Their flowers were shasti dai-
sies.

was groomsman and the guests
were ushered by Dave Chappel,
Cromarty. .
Guests from Geraldton,
Tweed, Cromarty, Walkerton,
Mount Forest, Englehart. Port
Arthur, Timmins, and Fuller-
ton attended' the wedding.
A reception was held at Kap-
uskasing Inn, which was decora-
ted with red roses and white
carnations.
For the 'wedding trip to
Southern Ontario, •the bride
chose a white lace over blue
suit with' white accessories.
The couple will reside in Ger-
aldtop,

tended the groom, and Gary
Cooper ushered guests.
For the reception at the
Hotel Hensall, the bride's moth-
er wore a pink linen ensemble.
The Boom's mother chose a
blue Thee suite. For their wed,
area the bride wore a dress of
blue and white . linen and pas-
tel bine Colt, with white acres•
