Typical is the road .con- • struction program in McKillop Township where road superintendent, Wilson Little and his staff have begun work on converting the sharp corners on a sideroad west of town, to gentle curves. The main 'entrance to the match will be on this side road, which leads from No. 8 Highway west of Seaforth and thus will carry much of the visitor traffic. United Church Women Meet at Brucefield, Zion Unit 3 of the Brucefield U.C.W. met at the home of Mrs. Robt. Allan with 23 ladies present. The session opened by singing "Let the Beauty 'of Jesus be - seen in Me", Mrs. Anile Walters gave the Call to Worship, followed by the Scripture from Act 2 read by Mrs: Lorne Thompson. The Study, "History of the United Church" was given by Mrs. Allan Hill. Anne Walters led in Prayer, and the benedic- tion was given by Mrs. Thompson. - The reports from commit- tees were • given.
