Mr, and Mrs. Gerry Grubb, of

JOHN T. GIBSON
John T. Gibson, 71, of the
Bayfield Road, Clinton, . died
Saturday after a one -day illness
at the Clinton Public Hospital.
He was born •in British Colum-
bila, the son of the late Mr. and
Mrs. George, Gibson. He was a
retired farmer.
_ Surviving are Ihis wife, the
former May Elliott; two sons,)
Fred, RR 5, Clinton, and Joseph,
RR 2, .Seaforth; a sister, Miss
Susan Gibson, .of Lucknow; four
brothers, James, Agassiz, , B.C.;
Samuel, 'Amberley; Marshall, of
Lucknow, and Earl, of Bolton;
and four grandchildren.
The body was at the Ball and.
Mutch funeral home, Clinton,
where a funeral service was
held Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. with
Rev. Grant Mills, of Ontario ,St.
United Church officiating. Bur-
ial foIiowed; in Clinton ceme-
tery.
ANTHON• Y ZABLOCKI'
;Anthony Zabiocki, 54, of RR
5, Clinton, died suddenly. from
a heart attack at the Clinton
Public Hospital early Sunday
morning. He was. owner and
operator of a trailer court near
the Clinton RCAF Station.
• He. was born in Poland where
he•served in the Second World
War as a lieutenant` in • the
Polish Army. In 1949 he immi-
grated to Canada, settling in
the Blyth area.
Surviving are his wife, the
f o rm°e r Miloslawa (Millie)
Szczejkowska, a well known bal-
let instructor in. Southwestern
Ontario; a daughter, Theresa; a
son, Richard, both at home. His
mother, •Mrs. Wladyslaw Zab-
locki, •also survives in Poland.
The body was at the Ball and
Mutch funeral home, Clinton,
where prayers were recited at
8 p.m. Monday. Requiem High
Mass was sung Tuesday at 10
a.m. at St. Joseph's Rotnan Cath-
olic Church, with Rev. J. E.
Kelly officiating. Burial follow-
ed in the Clinton cemetery.

Word has been received here
Of the death of Frank (Exior),
Nigh, in Blasdell, New York..
He was born . in Seaforth, the
son of _ Mrs. Philomene Mickle,
Clinton, and the late Luke Nigh.
'He is survived by his wife,
London, visited over the ;week
end with Mr. and Mrs. Freeman
Horne and family.
Mr. and Mrs. Phil Hern at
tended a wedding and recep
tion in Lambeth on Friday eve
ning for their niece, Miss Ruth
Anne Hern.
Mr. and Mrs. William Walters
were guests of their aunt, Mrs.
Margaret Hawkins, in Exeter
on Sunday.
Mrs.. Newton 'Clarke visited
Sunday with Mr, and Mrs. Fred
Dobbs at Exeter.
Mrs. John Coward visited Fri-
day in Exeter with Mr. and Mrs.
John Selves.
Mr. Harry Cole, of London,
visited Sunday , with Mr. and
Mrs. Freeman Horne.
The Youth Fellowship Club
met Sunday evening at Elim-
ville United Church. Scripture
was read by Ted Kernick.
Wayne Mayers was in charge
of the meeting. The Confirma-
tion class was also present and
Rev. Andrew Bog gave the Bible
study, and prayer by Kathy
Hern.
The Elimville Institute euchre
was held at the Township Hall
Monday evening. The winners
were: ladies' high, Mrs. John
Coward; gents' high, Howard
Cunnington; lone• hands, Gilbert
Johns; consolation, Bill Brown.
The groceries were WW1 by Mr.
William li.outly. There will be
another euchre, next Monday.

Mr. and Mrs. Ross Veal and
family, of Ilensall, visited on
Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. El-
wyn Kerslake and family,
'Miss Carol Foster, of Whalen,
and Miss Kathy Hern were in
Guelph over;,. the weekend as
delegates to the Junior . Farm.

so are four sisters: .Mrs. Peter
Hicknell, Mrs. Frank Henderson,
Mrs. Philip Fisher, and Mrs.
Mabel Sutherland; and four
brothers: William, Ambrose,
Peter and Sylvester. A sister,
Mrs. Agnes Hicknell, died some
years ago.
Funeral Mass was celebrated,
at Our Mother of. Good Counsel
Church, Lackawanna, with bur-
ial in Holy Gross Cemetery..
Mr. Nigh was a member of
Amalgamated Association of
Streets, Electric Railway and
Motor Coach Employees of Am-
erica, and United Commercial
Travellers of America.

conference in Toronto early
next week.
