Rev. J. C. Britton officiated for the dine ble-ring ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Dolmage, Seaforth, and the•groom is the son of Mrs. Howard Wettlaufer, Mitchell, and the late „Mr° Wettlaufer. The bride chose a floor -length's gown of white peau de seie with lace bodice and lilypoint sleeves. The scallofied neck- line was trimmed with tiny seed pearls and sequins. Her lace overskirt extended to form a full-length train. A lace and rosette headpiece held " her ,French illusion veil, and she carried a Bible crested' with . yellow roses and streamers. Mrs. Larry 'Schade, Mitchell, was matron of honor for her sister, wearing a flow -length dress of coral chiffon over taf- feta. Bridesmaids; Mrs. Doug- las Scott, Mitchell, and Miss Lorna Bennewies, Waterloo, wore identical floor - length gowns of blue chiffon over taf- feta. Flower girls, Cheryl Schade and . Kathy Coveney, both of Mitchell, wore floor - length white satin dresses with pink and blue trim. Glen Wettlaufer, of Mitchell, was 'best man foil his brother, coNst Na 'NEW. The twelfth CGI, meeting was held at the home of the leader, Mrs. B. Brown,, and op- ened with the CGZT Purpose, followed by the •CG1T Hymn. Business was discussed, The next meeting will be Saturday, in the form of the World Day of Prayer.. The worship period opened with Hymn 252 being sung, fol= lowed by prayer by Mrs. Brown. The mission study was complet- ed from the book called' "To e." The offering was received by Margie Whyte. Miss Deanna Dale spent last week at the home of her par-, ents, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Dale, while practiee teaching at Clin- ton public school. Mr. and Mrs. Ken Preszcator visited ,ethe...latter's father, Mr° Lawrence Hill, who is a patient in Exeter Hospital, Saturday evening. Miss Mary Buchanan;; of Wa- terloo 'University, spent the weekend at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Don Buchanan. Mr. and Mrs. William Dale and family visited . on Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Murray Scott and guests were ushered by Douglas Scott and William Steinbach, both of Mitchell. The World Day of Prayer ser- vice will be held in the church on Friday, Feb. 25, at 2 p.m., with Cooper's UCW assisting. Articles were brought in, which will be sent to the Oneida In- dian Reserve. Dressy Doreens The third meeting of the Kirkton No. 3 group, "Dressy Doreens," was held on Thurs- day evening at the home of Mrs. Jack Thomson. with nine members present. The meeting opened with the 4-H Pledge, followed by the roll call. The minutes of the second meeting were read by Linda Johns. Each member dyed a piece of caftan as a sample .for their record book. Notes were read by the leaders. Ann Parkinson ad- journed the meeting. Mr. and Mrs. Allan Lawison and baby Michael, of St. Marys, visited 'during the week with Mrs. Arthur Hopkins. Mrs., Robert Rundle -and Jack were weekend guests with Mrs. Wilbert Payne and Jim and Mr. Fred Payne, of London, and visited in Victoria Hospital with Mrs. Fred Payne and Mrs. Geo. Wilson. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hern, of Metropolitan, were Wednesday guests with Mrs. Arthur Hop- kins. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Waghorn, of Kirkton, were Sunday guests with Mrs. Arthur Hopkihs. Mr. and Mrs. Garfield Chivers and Mrs. Harry Lane, of Sarnia, were Sunday evening guests with Mr. and Mrs. James Mc- Lachlan and family. Lodge Holds Euchre • The Ladies' Lodge held a euchre in the hall on Thursday evening With 12 tables in play. Prizes were won for ladies' high score;- :Mrs:- Ebor Shute; lone hands, Mrs. J. Hodgins; men's high, Mr. Jim Wilson; lone hands, Mr. Wilson Hodgins. The travelling lone hand prize was won by Mrs. Oliver Jaques. Tickets were sold on a ham 'and won' by Mr. Clarence Switzer. The Luther League held its meeting at St. Peter's Lutheran Church. The worship was in the form. of hymns and scripture passages. Flower gjrl was Miss Susan Hoornaert, niece of the bride, dressed identical to the matron of honor. The groom was attended by Mr. Ron Campbell, of London. Guests were ushered by Mr. Toni VanLoon and Mr. Reiny VanLoon, brothers of the bride, and .Mr. Arnold Wright, cousin of the groom. Ringbearer was David Watson, yousin of the groom, dressed in 'black trous- ers and white sports coat. A reception and dinner fol- lowed in the Legion Hall. The bride's mother wore a turquoise Colored sheath with white ac- cessories, and a corsage.of pink, carnations completed her 'en- semble. The groom's 'mother chose a jade green dress' with brown accessories and a cor- sage of- pink =carnations. e - The bride's gift t,o the groom was a silver watch, and the groom's gift to:the bride was a double strand 'of pearls with matching ear -rings. For travel- ling the bride wore a navy blue suit of boucle 'with black patept accessories. After a trip' to the Southern States the couple will reside in Stratford.
