Gow-Robinson: That council
Put an advertisement in the

ninon at the $25 rate.
It was agreed that the coun-
cil join the Ontario Good Roads(
Association and the Ontario As-
sociation of Rural Municipali-
ties and pay the membership
fee, any members attending
either convention receive ' $50
for expenses.
Classified ads pay dividends.
Coultes-Dobinson: That coun-
cil pay membership fee of $25
to the Huron County Soil and
Crop Improvement AssOciation.
Coultes-Pattison: That coun-
cil advertise for warble fly
spraying of cattle at per 'head
basis, the sprayer to supply
spray truck at per head basis
for each spray, the Township
to supply the powder.

Plans Quilts for Auxiliary
The February meeting of the
Lutheran' Church Women a St.
Peter's Lutheran Church, Brod-
hagen, was -held With 25 mem-
belt and 18 visitors present.

S.S. Teachers Elect
The wives of the Church
Board of St. Peter's Lutheran
Church were in charge of a
supper provided by the congre-
gation to the Sunday School
teachers on Friday evening, in
appreciation of their work of
teaching the children, with
about 20 attending. A meeting
followed, including the annual
meeting of the Sunday school
teachers, with the following
elected: Diane Trutter, statisti-
cian; Sharon Dietz, assistant sta-
tistician; Mrs. John Vock, sec-
retary; Mrs. Gary Sholdice, as-
sistant secretary; Mrs. ' Ray
Gloor, treasurer; Mr. Edgar
Elligsen, superintendent; Mr.
Jack Gloor, assistant superin-

Usborne council met with

Road gravelling tenders were
opened and included: Ray Ire-
land, London, 78c per yard de-
livered and, 50c stockpiled; Joe
Kerr 'Ltd., Wingham, 77c per
• yard delivered and 42c stock-
pile; Sandy Contracting Co,
Ltd., Goderich, '75c -per yard de-
livered and 50c stockpiled.

RR 5, to crush 15,000 yards of
•gravel and deliver ,and spread
it on•the roads of the township
for 75c a cubic yard from the

Council cleared an applica-
tion to the Department of High-
ways for the balance of the
1965 road subsidy on a • total
expenditure of $55,831.89.
A petition, signed by eight
ratepayers, in Kirktorf, request-
ed the construction of a side-
walk on the Usborne side and
council directed that the De-
partment of Highways be con-
sulted as approval would be
needed to construct sidewalks
on, the side of Highway 23.
Kirkton Library, Association,
represented by Mrs. E. Hazle-
wood, Mrs. R. Ratcliffe and E.
Robinson, requested council to
pass the following motion; That
the council of the Township of
Usborne hereby endorses the
resolution received from the
Kirkton Library Association re-
questing that the Kirkton, Lib-
rary Association be. diksolved
and the Association be taken,
over by a County Public Lib-
rary Board. The motion was
moved by L. Smith and L. Fer-
guson 'and carried.
Town of Deter and • High
School: Since form of motion
passed at the Dec. 7th meeting
was not acceptahle.to the Muni-
cipal I3oard, council adopted a
motion: That the Town of Exe-
ter be requested to, issue de -

South Huron District High

addition to the South Huron
District High School in Exeter
and alterations to the existing
