Teachers Elect The wives of the Church Board of St. Peter's Lutheran Church were in charge of a supper provided by the congre- gation to the Sunday School teachers on Friday evening, in appreciation of their work of teaching the children, with about 20 attending. A petition, signed by eight ratepayers, in Kirktorf, request- ed the construction of a side- walk on the Usborne side and council directed that the De- partment of Highways be con- sulted as approval would be needed to construct sidewalks on, the side of Highway 23. Kirkton Library, Association, represented by Mrs. E. Hazle- wood, Mrs. R. Ratcliffe and E. Robinson, requested council to pass the following motion; That the council of the Township of Usborne hereby endorses the resolution received from the Kirkton Library Association re- questing that the Kirkton, Lib- rary Association be. diksolved and the Association be taken, over by a County Public Lib- rary Board.
