Holds Meeting
The regular monthly meeting
of the CWL of St. James' par-
' ish was held in the school audi-
torium on Tuesday evening with
Mrs:: Frank Nigh, president,
presiding. Reports were 'given
by the respective officers, and
Mrs, -M. Cooper, correspondence
secretary, read an invitation to
the World Day of Prayer at St.
Thomas' Anglican Church on
Feb. 25th, which was accepted.
The visiting committee for
February is Mrs. ,Harold Ma-
loney and Mrs., Frank Maloney.
It was decided to give a dona-
tion to Rev. A. P. Mahoney
Bursary and also to the Vanier
Institute, Mrs. Harry Hak and
Mrs, Herman Hoste were nam-
ed conveners for the euchre.
Mrs. John Flannery conduct-
ed contests; Mrs. James Kelly
read a poem, "and Mrs. Frank
Reynolds gave a humerous read-
ing. The mystery prize was

and lunch was served by the
