Seaforth Chamber of Commerce offers
prizes for the best decorated hoines in
Seaforth, Egmondville and Harpurhey
as follows:
1 There will be a prize of $10.00 awarded in each of
four zones for the Best Christmas Decorations.
2 The four zones are as follows:
Zone 1 - the area north of Goderich St. and
West of the centre line of North Main Street and
including Harpurhey.
Zone 2 - the area south of the centre line of
Goderich Street and west of the centre line of
Main Street to the town limits.
Zone 3 - the area south of the centre line of
Goderich Street and east of the centre line of
Main Street and including Egmondville.
Zone 4 - the area north of the centre line of
Goderich Street and east of the centre line of
North Main Street including properties abutting
the North Road for one mile north of the town.,
3 There will be a SPECIAL PRIZE of $10 for the
theme 'Best Religious Display" and Churches will
be eligible.
4 Only one prize �f $10 will be awarded to any one
entry.
'JUDGING WILL BE COMPLETED BY 11 P.M.,
SUNDAY, DECEMBER 22, 1968.

CWL held their annual Christ-
mas Dancein the Parish Hall,
Friday night when a capacity
crowd attended.
Door prizes were won by.

Delaney;, turkey, Mrs. Joe Shea;•
flash. lights, Ron Murray and
John Van Bakel; $5.00 cash
prizes, Mrs. Rose Van Bergen,.
Ed. Tozier, Mrs. Dan O'Rourke,
Bob Cronin and A. Y. McLean.
Spot dances were won by:
ash tray and box of chocolates,
Mr. and Mrs. Ken Ryan; sham-
poo set and day book and pen,
Pauline arid Ron McLaughlin;
two steak dinners, Mr. and Mrs.
Terry McCarthy; shampoo set
and day book and pen, Mr. and
Mrs. Russell Smith; ash tray
and box of chocolates, Mr. and
Mrs. George Goettler.

Christmas
Party
The Christmas party and
meeting of St. Jame's' CWL was
held Tuesday evening in St.
James' auditorium. Mrs. John
Flannery, the. president, presid-
ed. The visiting committee for
December is Mrs. Harold Mal-
oney, Mrs, Jack Case. The presi-
dent thanked all who helped at
the bazaar and welcomed every-
one to the Christmas party. Do-
nations this month go to Devel-
opment and Peace Fund, Dio-
cesan Educational Fund, gifts
to sick and shut-ins at Christ-
mas, treat for school children.
A euchre is planned for Jan-
uary. Gifts were exchanged and
lunch was served.
Inadvertently the name of
Mrs,. L. Lauclenbach-was omitted
from the sewing committee at
the CWL bazaar.

Mrs. Dale Nixon presided over
the regular meeting of the Bar-
bara Kirkman Auxiliary of First
Church. A meditation on the
Lord's Prayer was given by Mrs.
W. A. Wright gnd Mrs. R. K.
McFarlane read the story of
two Korean young people who
have accomplished much in the
way of learning. Others taking
part included Mrs. Keith Sharp,
Mrs. Mae Dorrance and Mrs. R.
S. Habkirk.

from St. Joseph's Church, Strat-
ford, on Tuesday with interment
in St. Patrick's Church ceme-
tery, Kinkora.
JOHN 11, ANSTETT
John P. Anstett, 82, died in
Bruce Cottnty Hospital, Walker
ton, Saturday. lle is survived by
his wife, nine sons, including
Raymond, Seaforth and John of
Clinto'n and three daughters.
Funeral SerViceS were held in
Sacred Heart Roman Catholic
Church, 'Walkerton on Tuesday
and burial followed in Sacred'
Heart cemetery.
