Council discussed at some length, steps that should be tak- en in connection with the Bo- shart plant for which the town had become responsible follow- ing the November tax sale. Heat is being maintained since insurance requires the sprink- ler system to function. It was agreed to continue heat pending further check as to the legal position. Should there be no legal liability coun- cil agreed to ad to discontinue services to the plant and details were left. to Deputy -Reeve Wil- mer Cuthill and his committee. Reporting for the police com- mittee, Conn. James Kelly said there had been 14 LCA and 10 HTA charges laid. Fines totalled $733.80. A Christmas bonus of $25 to the clerk and $15 to each of the town staff was cleared. The item on the meeting agenda in- advertently read "Christmas boner". Council decided to ask the Perth -Huron separate school board and Huron County board of education to make Seaforth their headquarters. -Council promised to assist the boards to locate temporary and permanent headquarters here. Mayor Kling expressed ap- preciation for the co-operation he had received during his term of office and wished every suc- cess to the mew council. Reeve Dalton, who like Mayor Kling, lost in the election, said he too had appreciated his year in Huron -Perth. (Continued from Pa.4e er and Rev: L. A.
