• Midway between Stratfora and Lake
Euron, Seaforth is located' on No. 8 High-
way in the centre of a rich agricultural
arep. The town is located within the in-
dustrial corridor which' cuts across, On-
tario , and of which Highway 401- is the
centre. Industry is served by overnight
cdnnectiong by rail and mbdern highway
with the commercial centres of Ontario.
Seaforth' i prosperity- is. stable. Since
it was founded more than 100 year's ago,
the town has been the base for a broad
range of industry reflecting' industrial
progress through the years

shell. What are the people of Seaforth
like? Perhaps thi‘ may best be answered
. by indicating the facilities they enjoy for
worship, for education, for recreation.
• There are five thriving churches in
Seaforth serving all major religious de-
nominations. There are modern public
and separate schools and ,a new district'
high school. The town has ai.Carnegie
-rary, fraternal organizations and ,service
.clubs.

The Seaforth,and District Community
Centre and Arena is the headquarters for
much_of the winter activity in the district.
Equipped with artificial ice, the Arena
provides home ice for the district hockey
teams and facilities for the Seaforth Fig-
ure Skating Club.
The Seaforth community enjoys Most
modern medical services, a new 48 -bed
Seaforth Community Hospital having
been opened in 1965. The Seaforth Lions
• Park of eight acres provides swinitning
•and wading pools and extensive picnic
facilities including a large covered picnic
pavilion. The hospital and park located
on. opposite sides of No. 8 Highway, pro-
vide a particularly pleasing approach to
the town from the east.
This, page provides only a brief
glimpse of the stable forward-looking
towri of Seaforth; but it indicates the ad-
vantages which the eommunity enjoys.
It is a community in which to live a full
and prosperous life, a community suited
for further industrial development.
