On Monday evening the fam-
ily ot Mr. and 11frs.• Auguste
Duchanne surprised them at
their home on the oegasiou of
their 45t11 wedding anniversary.
They were married in St
James' Church, Seaforth, by the
late Rev. Father Goetz on Sep-
tember 25th, I.143,
Mrs. Ducharnie is the former
Mary Kennedy, a daughter of
the late Mr. and Mrs. Roland
Kennedy. Mr. Ducbarrne is the
son of the late Mr. and Mrs.
James Ducharane. They have a
family of five, Mrs. Gordon
Staples (Catharine); James, both
of Hibbert Township; Mrs. Ron
Marcy (Rase), Stratford; Thom-
as, Sault Ste Marie; Kenneth,
