Amid a setting itf
asters and white satin bows, in
St. Thomas' Aglican Church,
Seaferth, Jane gamilton of Kit-
chener, became the bride o_f
Murdo MacLean, also 0 Kit-
chener. Rev. Sharpies perform-
ed the double ring ceremony on
Sept. 7, at 3:30 -p.m.
The bride is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Jack Hamilton, RR
1, Varna and the groom is the
son of Mr. and 117/rs. Angus Mac-
Lean, Kitchener, formerly of
Seaforth. .
The bride, given in marriage
by her father, taking a cue from
her Victorian ancestors chose a
full length gown of rippling
whiteFrench ribbon lace with
large organza bow streaming
from beneath a high waist line.
Sleeves slightly fitted, graced at
the cuffs with tiny lilliputian
buttons. Her floor length veil
fell softly from an embroider-
ed headpiece. She carried a
bouquet of white butterfly
roses and carnations.
Maid of honor was Miss Bon-
nie Graham of Clinton and
bridesmaids were Miss Janice
Memer of Halifax and Miss Mel-
issa MacLean of Kitchener,
gowned alike in - soft flowing
sky blue chiffon, pleated shalad
cellar caught at back with large
bow and cascading into a train.
They carried blue and white
baby mums.
Groomsman was Don Hulley
of Seaforth and ushers were
Wayne Hamilton of Varna and
Tom Phillips of Seaforth.
The dinner and reception was'
held at Zurich Community Cen.
tre. The bride's mother receiv-
ed guests in pale blue carded
silk dress with matching -coat
and black accessories. The
groom's mother was in brown
lace with blue accessories. Both
wore corsages of white carna-
tions.
The couple left on a honey-
moon to the Northern States.
The bride chose as her travel;
ling outfit a grey and white
checked wool dress with black
accessories and a carnation cor-
sage.
Guests were present from
Varna, Seaforth, London, Kit-
chener, St. Thomas, Goderich,
Hamilton, Michigan, California
and Scotland.
- The couple will reside at, 586
, Victoria St. S., Kitchener.
Previous to the wedding,
showers were held by Mrs. Nor-
man MacLean, Egmondville and
the -ladies of the Goshen Line
United Church.

and front. The headpiece was
a crown. ,off pearls. She carried -
a cascade of red roses and fea-
tliered mums.
The bridesmaids were shea-
thed in long dresses with the
empire waist style. White dais-
ies accented the bodice.
Ja.mes Palin of Seaforth was
best man and the ushers were
Bill Storey, Seaforth and Gary
Larondeau, Staples.
During the Ceremony Mrs,
'Biexk played traditional wed.
ding music and accompanied
the soloist Mrs. Dietrich.
A recelition was held at Cern-
bee 's Odd Fellows Hall. POW a
wedding trip to Northettn and
Eastenn'Ontario the bride diose
a long sleeved pink and white
dress with white accessories.
On their return they will re-
side in Seaforth.
