were united in marriage on Aug-.
ust 10th at 1:30 p.m.
- The nuptial mass was sung
by Monseignor White and serv-
ers were Don Benninger of
' Scarboro Foreign Misstons and
,- Tom Melady of publie. The
church was - decorated with
white and pink gladioli against a
background of fdrns.
The bride is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Edward P. Melady
RR 2, Dublin, and the groom is
the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph
F. Ryan, RR 1, Dublin,
The bride, given in marriage
by her father, chose a floor -
length gown of chantilly lace,
with lily -point sleeves and cowl
collar dotted with- seed pearls.
A panel of logoda inethe front
of the dress and in the chapel
train was scalloped with chanti-
lly lace. Her cathederal length
hand rolled silk illusion veil Was
held with a pearl and crystal
tiara. She carried an arm bou-
quet of long stemmed red roses
with ivy trim.
June Anne Melady, sister of
the bride, ,as- maid of honor,
wore a- dress of..: neou, pink.
Jeanne Melady, sigter of the
bride, Joyce Ryan and Agnes
Ryan, sisters of the groom, as
bridesmaids, were dressed alike
hi carnation pink: Their goWnS
were floor -length of chiffon
fashioned with cowl collar, cap
sleeves and bow forming the
empire look with front drape.
They wore half crown head-
pieces of carnation pink sweet-
heart roses an,d carried bou-
quets of carnation pink roses
with ivy trim.
The groomsman was Gerald
Ryan, 100 Springbali Drive,
London and...Paid Malone, 529
Queens Ave., London, Jim Mel-
ady and Brian Melady, RR 2,
Dublin were the ushers.
Mrs. V. J. Lane played tradi-
tional wedding music and ac-
companied the soloist Roy Mc-
Quaid.
The reception was held at the
Brodliagen Community Hall.
The bride's -mother received
the guests wering a two-piece
suit of blue brocade with black
accessories and corsage of pink
sweetheart roses. She was assis-
ted by the groom's mother, who
wore a green crepe dress with
black accessories and corsage
of pink sweetheart roses.
For a wedding trip to Mani-
toulin and Northern Ontario,
the bride travelled in a yellow
souffle coat ensemble with
brown accessories.
. The couple will reside at 621
Kipps Lane, Apt. 105, London.
Guests were present from
Toronto, Windsor, Montreal,
Goderich, Belle River and Kit-
chener.

the Seaforth Whirl -A -Ways rec-
ently at his home in Harpurhey.
Egbert Jacobs called to four
sets of square dancers till 11:15
when we adjourned for barbe-
qued hamburgers and hot dogs
with all the trimmings, follow-
ed by toasted marghinallows.
The weather was perfect and
all enjoyed Mr. -Larone's hospi-
tality.
The 1968-69 executive of the
Seaforth Whirl -A -Ways met at
the home of our new presidents,
Mr. and Mrs. Clare -Reith. Fun
night will, be on Sept. 11 when
anyone interested as well as
regular dangers are invited to
attend: Beginners' classes 'will
start on Sept. 15th and regular
club dancing on, Sept. 18th. We
hope to have three guest cal-
lers during the year ps well as
our third annual sing -a -long in
May. There was a discussion on
a New Year's Eve party which
will be decided it our first reg-
ular meeting. If enough danc-
ers are interested we may have
round dancing for an hour
previous to our regular square
dancing. Dancers are asked to
attend as regularly as possible.
Our hostess served h delicious
lunch.

For, travelling to Quebec, the

'cotton A-line lace dre,s,s with
black accessories and a corsage
of red carnations.
IV1r. and Mrs. McDowell will
reside in Kitchener. The bride
and groom are graduates of
Stratford Tachers College end
are at present teaching on the
Kitchener and District Public
School Staff. .
