son of Mr. and Mrs. Warren
Whitmore, RR 3, Seaforth and
Miss Margaret Christena Hillen,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stan-
ley Hillen, RR 4, Walton. Rev,
J. Clifford Britton officiated.
Miss Lois Grasby of Clinton
played traditional wedding mus-
ic and accompanied the soloist,
Mrs. Dave Hackwell, cousin of
the bride, Stratford, while she
sang "0 Perfect Love" and "The
Nuptial Benediction".
The bride, given in marriage
by her father, wore a sheath
white peau de sole gown accen-
ted by French lace around the
empire waistline and sleeves.
The peau de soie train was edg-
ed with French lace. A veil fell

bouquet of deep wine sweet-
heart roses and trailing greens.
The maid of honor was Miss
Jean Haien of Oshawa, sister of
the bride. Miss June Hiller', sis-
ter of the bride and Miss San-
dra Hammer of Toronto were
bridesmaids. They wore identi-
cal floor -length gowns of tur-
quoise blue polished bengaline
linen with matching capes trim-
med with a bow and frill. They
carried bouquets of crescent
shaped white starburst mums.
Matching headpieces completed
their ensemble.
Mr. Bob Munn of London was
groomsman and the guests were
ushered by Mr. Ken Whitraore,
BR 3, Seaforth, brother of the
groom and Mr. Bert Dennis, St.
Thomas, cousin of the bride.
For a trip to Northern On;
tario, the bride wore a coral
knitted suit with matching bow,
black accessories and gardenia
cottage.
The mother of the bride re-
ceived guests in a dress of blue
lace over taffeta with a match-
ing coat, navy accessories and a
corsage of pink roses. The
groom's mother chose a -beige
jiress with brown accessories
and a corsage of white chrysan-
themums with orange high-
lights. •
- Guests were present from
Oshawa, North Bay, Kingston,
Kitchener, St. Thomas, London,
Midland and Cooksville.
Prior to her marriage the
bride was ,honored at a trous-
seau tea by her mother and at
a shower sponsored by friends
and neighbors at Cavan
Church, Winthrop.
