MRS. E. F. CHANDLER,.
Mrs, E. F. Chandler, 81, died
A-ugust 1 in St. Joseph's Hos-
pital, London, where she had
been a patient since maJor sur-
gery in May. She was buried
in Parkhill Cemetery on August
16.
Born in Leonard in Eastern
Ontario, she was the former
Hattie Meffatt and was the wid-
ow of the late Rev. E. F. Chand-
ler who ministgred to United
Church congregations in Wel-
ton, Fordwiclf and Kippen be.
fore moving to Parkhill in
1941... Since Mr. Chandler's
death in 1945, Mrs. Chandler
continued to live in Parkhill.
She is survived by five daugh-
ters: Helen (Mrs. Norman Al -
mender), Londesboro; Roma
(Mis. Lorne Acheson), Dundalk;
Dorothy (Mrs. Wm. Elliot),
Parkhill; Jean (Mrs. A. G. Ad-
amson), Ottawa; Shirley (Mrs.
Don Irish), Waterloo.
A daughter Halcyon (Mrs. 0.
R. Littleford) Baltimore, Mary-
land, predeceased her in May
1967 and a son Ian, Beauharn-
ois, Que., in May, 1968.
