For Holland -Gaffney Reunion
With a wonderful bzeak
from the weatherman a crowd

ed on Gerald Holland's grounds
at 11:30a.m. where doughnuts
and coffee were waiting wiline
everybody got registered and
dolled up with badges, top hats
Hawaiian Leis, Goy 90 garters,
swagger canes for the men and
Royal Tiras for the women,
By this time the refreshment
booth and kitchen were in full
sing and both worked con-
tinuously till the fireworks at
10 p.m. wherb the bus with 60
passengers from Windsor left
for home, and practically all
the guests were gone by mid
night.
During the Clay, the now well
known "Toormerville Trolley"
with approximately 25 passen-
gers all the time, maintained
a steady schedule till dark.
At half hour intervals there
were games far the kids with
only an excuse for them to win
a prize, so all the kids went
home with "bagsfull of loot".
• A peeial attraction of this
particular party was the pres-
entation of a matched coin set
in plastic cage of a silver dol-
lar to a penny in the year mat-
ching the age of all the child-
ren of the "third generation"
and a special souvenier to ever-
yone- else on the grounds.
During the day six special
awards were made and six
special prizes were given at the
discretion of those in charge.
The caterers, all from Mit-
chell, vNere unanimously ac-
clainied tho hast ever.

Picnic
The Stephenson picnic was
held at the Lions Park in Sea -
forth on Sunday. A delicious
pienic lunch was served after
which a brief business meeting
was conducted by the president
and a sports program was held.

and Mn and Mrs. Gerald Rath -
