Moves More Cenient More. Quick y
Now all it needs is a namel Louis Maloney, local contractor, felt that something had to
be done to speed up the pouring of cement into forms. He along with Henry 2iler came up
with a brand new invention with a spindling auger which runs from. the hydraulic drive
shaft of a tractor and sends the cement quickly and efficiently into the forms. First used on
the Bob Patrick farm, RR 4, Seaforth, Monday, the maphine unloaded six yard of cement in
less than 10 minutes — a process which normally took one-half hour by front -loading tractors.
,Mr. Maloney plans to patent the idea and already has captured the interest of some compan-
ies for its use. In the picture Mr. Maloney happily checks the success of the machine while
Bob Patrick and Tony Cartez 9upervise the far end. (Photo by Cantley).
