The June meeting of the 8th
end 16th UCW unit was held at
the home of Mrs. Donald Fras-
er. Mrs. James Smith read the
scripture. The topic "The Poli-
tician and the Social Worker"
Was taken from the study book
by Mrs. Jan Van Vliet and Mrs.
J. Smith read a story.
Mrs. Jan Van Vliet presided
over the business part. The cop-
per collection was taken and the
regular collection received.
Grace was sung and lunch was
served, by Mrs, Hartad Bolger ,
and the hostess.
Mission Band was held Sun-
day morning with 43 members
present Rickey McDonald open-
ed the meeting with the call to
worship. Janice Houston was at
the piano. The minutes were
read by Joan Bennett and treas-
urer's report given by Roger
Humphries.
• Mite boxes were collected and
Gail Traviss, Brian Smith and
Brian Marks took part in the
dedication service.
Anyone having Japanese ar-
ticles brought them to the front
for display.
Classes were taken under the
leadership of Mrs. Wm. Coutts,
Mrs. Wm. Roe, Mrs. Mac Shot- ,
dice and Mrs. Merton Hackwell.
